There is the following description for this image,

It seems clear to me that this is indeed a lock, écluse in French and Chiusa in Italian.

And it seems that it is not on the river Ourthe but on a near by canal that Viamichelin calls Pompage.

If someone is near by, do you have the opportunity to verify?

Cqui (talk) apres avoir vu l'endroit sur Google street view, je suis sur que c'est une ecluse et que la confluence est proche mais pas la. --09:18, 25 September 2012 (UTC)
