File talk:Loudspeaker.svg

Latest comment: 14 years ago by Woodstone in topic Loudspeaker used as button to play the file

I've added this to the site-wide Common.css for en.wikipedia. — Omegatron 16:05, 26 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thank you edit

And now what you say in history, you're right: waves should be slightly different for total accuracy. But it doesn't matter a lot — it works, and now we have a new style of loudspeakers.

I guess you also thought that if you changed the general css.

There is another picture slightly different from original, also made by me:

Background is transparent, and lower corners are rounded in the SVG version — but not in PNG.

Nethac DIU, always would speak here

Sorry for boring. :)

The loudspeaker is not exactly the same as the old one, but I think your SVG looks better. The older SVG version that I commented on didn't look as good with the different waves, but this one is perfect. I am going to use it in a larger version as part of a test javascript, too.  :-) — Omegatron 19:07, 30 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
Ah! I didn't realize waves were changed. Yeah, this version is better. Thank you, Zoid. --Nethac DIU 10:59, 31 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Loudspeaker used as button to play the file edit

We intend to start using the laoudspeaker symbol as a button to play sound files

This would be comparable to a URL link as:

In that usage, it would be better for the symbol to have the same color as all other links in WP. Could the author make such a one available? −09:49, 25 August 2009 (UTC).

I made a copy of this file under name Speakerlink.svg. With some reverse engineering I changed the colour to hard blue. Hope this does not offend any attribution rules. −Woodstone (talk) 12:48, 25 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
Return to the file "Loudspeaker.svg".
