Current depiction inconsistent with Wikipedia:WikiProject Maps/Conventions/Orthographic maps?

{{Edit request}} On the conventions page in question it states that the light green color currently used to depict Western Sahara is only for "Claimed uncontrolled areas." In its current state the map would appear to be inconsistent with the conventions outline, and thus potentially misleading to readers.

Is there a specific reason why the entire territory of Western Sahara should use this color regardless of the defined conventions?

If there isn't, I would propose only using the light green color for the territory under the control of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic. Jj1984o (talk) 16:47, 4 October 2022 (UTC)
