The cities in Magna Graecia were far from neutral. This may be the truth at the start of the war, but soon enough all the major cities were caught in the conflict between Sparta and Athens, one way or another. The Sicilian Expedition of the Athenians against Syracuse and its allies, in fact, marked a decisive blow to the Athenian power. Amongst others, these were the sides Greek cities took: Syracuse, Gela, Selinus, Himera, Lipara, Lokroi, with Sparta; Rhegion, Katane, Kamarina, Parthenope (Neapolis), with Athens. Also, territories marked as “non-Greek” in the map, took part in the conflict, e.g. Segesta, a city of the Elymians sided with Athens. Hard to find Spartan expedition

It's too hard to spot where the annual Spartan expedition line(s) on the map are. I couldn't find them. The region borders and river lines are similar-looking things which draw the eye, and the color doesn't set it apart from anywhere it would be found on the map.
