Misidentification?

This looks much more like Marasmius Oreades https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marasmius_oreades. I think there's a misidentification here because a) the gill colour doesn't look right for mature Subaeruginosa (caps turned up) and b) the environment (grassland) suits oreades better, 2406:3400:218:E160:6192:8687:BC53:B603 08:14, 27 April 2023 (UTC)

Hello. The photo does not have a high resolution, but looking as closely as possible I have the impression that this is a dark-spored mushroom and I doubt that it is M. oreades. I don't know this Australian species, but what I can see on the web seems consistent to me with the P. subaeruginosa possibility. Anyway it is good to see critical feedback on the identification of mushroom photos in Wikimedia Commons - I think that we need much more of this. Strobilomyces (talk) 15:24, 8 October 2023 (UTC)
