Description is copied

I was wondering why a newly-uploaded file would have a description that said "Edit on 6 December 2008:", until I discovered that you copied the description from File:Raccoon-range.png. It may seem trivial in this case, but all contributions on this site are covered by the attribution requirements of the Creative Commons license, including the descriptions. You referred to File:Raccoon-range.png, but you didn't say that you copied the description from it. That would seem to violate the license. Chuck Entz (talk) 05:47, 20 December 2019 (UTC)
