This image purports to be from 1912. If you read his bio, you will see that he was at Kentucky Wesleyan College in 1912, and at the University of Kentucky from 1913 to 1923. He didn't arrive at Florida until 1928. Either the date is wrong, or it was taken while he was at Kentucky Wesleyan. The image is from the University of Florida Digital Collections and it was scanned from the University of Florida Archives. The citation page for the image lists the photo as being taken of Tigert in Kentucky, but the source for the photo is the University of Florida Libraries.
