I have removed the {{Copyright by Wikimedia}} template from this image that was added in September 2005. Yes, it is true that Wikimedia logos are copyrighted. But in this case, the logo is only a tiny part of the image, and it seems that there was never explicit permission from the Wikimedia Foundation to use the logo in this image.
This is a free screenshot. A {{Copyright by Wikimedia}} tag is as unnecessary as a "copyright by Microsoft" tag for Image:NetHack for Windows Screenshot.png. --Kernigh 21:51, 22 December 2005 (UTC)
