Lothian Buses: tour buses

English: The various bus tour services operated by Lothian Buses. On creation in 2000, the company inherited one existing tour from its predecessor Lothian Region Transport, the Edinburgh Classic Tour, which it immediately relaunched as a City Sightseeing franchise. The vintage bus tour and Edinburgh Tour were added in 2002 following the acquisition of Mac Tours and collapse of Guide Friday respectively, leaving Lothian with a monopoly in the city. The company subsequently added new tours - the Majestic Tour in 2004, the Forth Bridges Bus & Boat Tour in 2007 and the Edinburgh World Heritage Official Tour in 2012. The heritage tour ended in 2014.
