Why is this not capitalised? edit

Why is this not capitalised? MediaWiki:Otherlanguages it is capitalised, but that has no effect, the w is still small. Dunc| 21:08, 14 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

It's because all the portlet titles have the "text-transform: lowercase;" CSS declaration applied in monobook/main.css. If we want to override it, we could add something like:
.portlet#p-lang h5 { text-transform: none; }
to MediaWiki:Common.css (or just MediaWiki:Monobook.css, although some other skins do that as well). Or we could just wrap the messages in "<span style="text-transform: none;"></span>".Ilmari Karonen (talk) 15:36, 21 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
Okay, we can't, apparently HTML (or wikimarkup) can't be used in these messages. So that leaves only the Common.css option, then. —Ilmari Karonen (talk) 15:41, 21 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
