Richard Wellesley, 1st Marquess Wellesley
British politician (1760-1842)
English: Richard Wellesley, 1st Marquess Wellesley later Wellesley, 1st Marquess Wellesley (20 June 1760 - 26 September 1842), was the eldest son of Garret Wesley, 1st Earl of Mornington, an Irish peer, and brother of Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington. He married first the French actress Hyacinthe-Gabrielle Roland. Their daughter Anne Wellesley was an ancestor of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom (Wellesley himself being one of the Queen's 32 great-great-great grandparents).
