Routemaster bus RM980

English: Routemaster bus RM980 (reg. USK 625, ex-WLT 980) was delivered to London Transport in November 1961, registered as WLT 980. It saw use in London until withdrawal in November 1987, being sold the following January to the Stagecoach subsidiary United Counties for further public tranpsort use. It saw further use in the Stagecoach subsidiaries of East Midlands, Mansfield & District, Bluebird Buses (Perth), being re-registered as USK 625 in 1992 while with East Midlands. It returned to London service when transferred to Stagecoach East London in 1998. It operated with East London until being withdrawn in August 2003, when London Buses route 15 was converted from Routemaster operation. A month later it was sold into preservation.
