Usage

Use this template to add a reference to a family on the web site AnimalBase by providing the taxon id on AnimalBase.

Note: This template can be used in conjunction with {{Taxoconflict}}, {{Taxa}}, {{Genera}}, {{Genera2}}, {{Species}}, {{Species2}} and {{Subspecies}} with parameter "source=AnimalBase" (See here the different values for source)

Note: if you want to edit this template, first try your modifications on {{AnimalBase family/sandbox}}.You can then test your edits in {{AnimalBase family/testcases}}.
When the new version is ready, you can move it to the main template.

For a species, please use {{AnimalBase species}}.
For a genus, please use {{AnimalBase genus}}.
For a higher taxon, please use {{AnimalBase taxon}}.

Parameters

familyId

the id of the family on AnimalBase web site.

How to retrieve the id: In the url www.animalbase.uni-goettingen.de/zooweb/servlet/AnimalBase/home/family?id=6 the familyId is 6

The name of the family (don't put italic)
