Inline request for translation - place in front of the text to be translated to bring attention to it and clarify source language. Example: {{translateme|en|ko}} Please translate this to Korean. gives en → ko Please translate this to Korean. The template should be removed once the translation request has been acted on (or otherwise made unnecessary).

This template is not intended to be localized. Note: editors are encouraged to create translated redirects to this template so that users can simply write {{transname}}. The "transname" template would contain {{Translateme|{{{1|xx}}}|{{{2|en}}}}}, where xx is the appropriate language code, so that using the template without any parameters gives a request for translation from the template language to English.
