2006 law edit

It appears Djibouti passed a new law in 2006 (copyright law n°154/AN/06/5ème L). Their terms are now 50 pma for most works, 50 years from publication for films, and still 25 years from creation for photographs. However, the Google translation seems to indicate that it is non-retroactive. So, it seems as though works from authors who died before 1981 are OK, and films published before 1981 are OK, as are photos created more than 25 years before Jan 1 of the current year. The 1981 date is a constant, and won't change every year, at least until 2032 (unless terms are changed again before then). Carl Lindberg (talk) 21:33, 26 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Pfff, I'm stupid. Sorry about that. You're right about retroactivity, I confirm on the basis of my understanding of the original text in French (art. 111-1). I correct the tag and the pages I've modified. --Eusebius (talk) 21:48, 26 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
