Unsplash license
editUnsplash recently changed the license from CC-Zero to the so-called “Unsplash License”. Creative Commons have weighed in on the issue.
We probably need to update this template :)

The statement in the template is incorrect. Individual photographs uploaded from Unsplash meet the free licence requirements very clearly, now that the terms have been amended to include irrevocability. The analysis by CC supports that same conclusion. The detailed requests and constraints on using the API are separate issues from questioning the copyright of a photograph. --Fæ (talk) 13:09, 12 August 2017 (UTC)
