• "Economical miracle of Estonia" or "Baltic Tiger"

English: Despite Estonia is small country without resources, it has the lowest loan in Europe. Another surprise from economical science is success after 1990's - despite capitalism gearing economy of small countries into bankruptcy very quick, Estonian economy managed to bloom in 2004-2008.

Other mysterious of Estonian economical miracle were opened import - Estonian economy was growing actively despite population gave their last money to foreign producers. How much time have you spent for searching imported products, for example, in Swedish or Danish supermarkets? But Estonian market is overwhelmed by foreign products despite Estonia exports nothing. How could thrive economy with negative balance?

Secret of this economical success is too simple - Estonia is a human shield between EU and Russia, so EU subsidized propaganda against Russia quite long time (as result, Jew community were strictly humiliated by Hitler's regime glorification in Estonia). And Estonia was used as agent in this political games. Using Estonia, EU limited availability to harbors for Russia. Today, when Russia had built it's own harbor in Saint Petersburg, all social benefits from EU to Estonia were cancelled.

The reason of poverty in Estonia is wrong economical model - despite capitalism has died in 2008-2009, west countries still use dead economical model through anguish and failures with related results :-) as Estonia aimed it's economy to died model, it's living in deep economical depression today.

Русский: Многие хвалят Эстонию за правильную финансовую политику - на сегодняшний день у Эстонии самый низкий долг. Однако, мне довелось делать электрику в доме у экономиста (кстати, побеседовав с ним, я убедился что он настоящий экономист, а не очередное фуфло) и он мне открыл кое-какие хитрости: дело в том, что для выживания в условиях капитализма, стране нужны совершенно реальные ресурсы, которых у Эстонии отродясь не было. Да и к тому же Эстония является маленькой страной - то есть капитализм должен был довести страну до банкротства за короткий промежуток времени... однако, с точки зрения науки, в экономике Эстонии произошло какое-то неведомое чудо: вместо падения уровня жизни ниже России, в Эстонии наоборот наблюдался стремительный рост. Возникает вопрос - а за счет чего?

С точки зрения науки получается такой абсурд - более успешные Греция или Белоруссия всю жизнь живут в долгах и никогда не смогут вылезти оттуда, а вот находящаяся в крайне невыгодном положении Эстония (у импортирующей страны нет никаких ресурсов и рынки для эстонских товаров закрыты почти везде) наоборот смогла каким-то таинственным образом разбогатеть :)

Ладно, не буду вас долго пытать, а всего лишь дам ссылку на фильм, где раскрываются маленькие секреты успехов эстонской экономики:

Ну а после просмотра фильма, вы, наверное, нашли исчерпывающие ответы на многие вопросы - с какой целью в Эстонии так активно вспоминают оккупацию совком, но при этом никогда ни при каких обстоятельствах не вспоминают про убийства евреев. Ровно как и поняли, почему же эстонские политики активно корешатся с галстукоедом и в каких конкретно вопросах консультируют его.

Estonia (Estland, Generalbezirk, Hitler's paradise) is small, but proud latin Europe country. Poverty exceeds 20%, but ministries always telling about strong economics. Despite government doesn't want to improve economics, it's nation still vote for liberal-communists (there is very short anecdote: "Estonian prime-minister Ansip is fighting against communism", which could be understood as "former communist, who had violated human rigths during Soviet times, is fighting against communism nowadays") due to russophobia policy. This intelligent nation hates the person, who realised Estonia from communism in 1991 and presented democracity for estonian people.

Tourists come here due to cheap prices, cause visas for European-Union countries is not required. Finnish and Swedish tourist come here for buying cheap alcohol and unpunishment drinking in public places.

Especially saturated life had been during 1990's (approximately till 2002...2003), when criminal world and bribering had some bulging power and everything were controlled by the mafia. Nowadays tourists become victims of small thiefs quite often. But as all of Estonian prisons are overfilled (in cells saved from Soviet times for 26 prisoners sit 40 or 50 prisoners), nobody punish them.

Guess, what nation is illiterate in history and still live in 1940's =) Despite Soviet Union failed 20 years ago finally, occupation is reminded every day nowadays. And everything is done not like in Russia. They still seeing terrible enemy in Russia, despite Estonia was part of Soviet Union. What is more humorously - they still criminate living in Estonia russian-speaking people in Stalin and Molotov crimes in full seriousness =) And waiting for apologies from Russia to present bill for Soviet occupation. Foreign organizations interfered, but it hadn't stopped apartheid. As the fact, Estonia hadn't fulfilled conclusion between Estonia and USSR from 1991 in cityzenship, 30% of population lived without any citizenship.

Especially it reflected on Estonian education, cause modern Estonian education looks like living in the caves during ancient times. Entrepreneurs recognize, that education level is too weak nowadays, but nobody solve this problem. And there is other reason - stupid population is more elastic in obedience than educated, so it is more easy to rule at dumbs than literated population. As estonian ministries from reform and IRL parties bullying population by hazards from russian-speaking people and other unpunisment russophobia, they save their ministerial seats with big salaries. Despite purposes of estonian ministries aren't related to love and defend Estonia, they are succesfully manipulating by stupid population and provide better living conditions for themself. Developed Europe, by one word =)

Русский: Маленькая, но крайне гордая страна. Бедность в стране превышает 20%, но правительство всё устраивает и правительство показывает только положительные стороны (результаты зачастую подгоняются) и ни капли больше. Что не меньше удивляет - такой коммунизм поддерживают даже коренные эстонцы. Почему только коренные эстонцы? Дело в том, что в Эстонии жители делятся на коренных жителей и инопланетян. Внешне инопланетяне ничем не отличаются от обычных людей (ну разве что говорят по-русски), но с распадом СССР им выдали серые паспорта решив не распространять на них права человека поскольку они не имеют человеческих корней. Так вот, из всех жителей Эстонии, право голосовать распространилось только на 2/3 жителей. "Верхи" объясняют это тем, что понаехалы из СССР ассоциируются с убийствами и изнасилованиями их бабушек и дедушек, хотя сами нигде ни в каких исторических источниках не упоминают своих подвигов за осень 1942 года. На самом же деле, деление на инопланетян необходимо было как для приватизации привлекательной недвижимости, так и для получения кресла премьер-министра великим эстонским фантазёром.

Кстати, эстонским инопланетянам на данный момент разрешили ездить по Европе и России без визы. Не всё так плохо. Я бы выделил другой момент: во время кризиса куча коренных эстонцев свалило отсюда в Европу. Не 18-летняя школота, у которой единственная перспектива в Европе помыть посуду за 1,5 евро в час; а серьёзные специалисты с серьёзными намерениями. В соседней Финке нет ни одной стройки, где бы не работали эстонцы; а в Стокгольме своими глазами видел работающую контролёром билетов общественного транспорта эстонку, покрывающую отборным матом нынешнего премьер-министра. Наверное, им в Эстонии независимость не сделала жизнь слаще и не от хорошей жизни они убежали в Европу.

К чему это я? К тому, что в Европе с ними никто не обращается подобным способом. Да даже после проигрыша во Второй Мировой евреи не захватили власть в Германии и не начали делить жителей Германии на евреев-людей и говорящих по-немецки инопланетян. А вот в Эстонии можно наблюдать полную противоположность.

На этом весёлости в стране не заканчиваются. Правительство конечно можно критиковать до бесконечности и всё-равно к концу не приблизится.

Про образование лучше ничего не говорить, т.к. в министры записали полного маразматика. Впринципе, до него министром образования был фанатик Гитлера не лучше.

Туристы приезжают сюда за дешёвым пойлом (по сравнению с Европой, бухло и кислородные трубочки в Эстонии копейки стоят, иностранцы скупают товары первой необходимости тоннами) и их за проявление культуры своих стран стараются не наказывать, чтобы Эстония не обанкротилась из-за отсутствия денег в бюджете.

English: *Positive things:

Well, beaches and swimming area are in 15...20 minutes from living homes (going by foot). Architecture saved from lot of eras - begining from West-European in middle centuries and finishing by Soviet tower blocks. Looks like architecture has it's own soul.

• Negative:

Public services working like death trap... Transport also have problems, roads in city have been built during Soviet times (when only few people had their own cars), nowadays they only replace asphalt coating in thick roads. As result, city is choking in traffic jams. System of tunnels and bridges is really missing, only traffic lights.

• Famous persons you can meet in public transport:
  • 1) "Nitroboy" or "Vova glue" or "chemical factory". All the time sniffs paint thinners, but his favorite is "Nitro 646". Sometime sniffs the rubber glue. Twice was arrested by police. Lot of times was thrown out by bus drivers. Сauses the panic by chemicals odor. As usual prefer to apper in green clothes. Due to unofficial data, he is not 18 yet. Sometime looks to funny :)
  • 2) Yasha. Has mental disorders, you may always see him singing in public buses. Not agressive at all, but his unusual behavior may confuse people.

Русский: *Чем нравится город? Ну во-первых, пляж и море нахаляву, не надо никуда ехать на курорты. И вообще ехать никуда не надо, расстояния позволяют ходить пешком. От моего дома до Пирита 15 минут пешком если в сельвер по пути не заходить =) Ну и архитектура в городе довольно контрастная - от средневековья до СССР - нигде такого в западной Европе нет. А вот новые дома по ходу проектируют импотенты :(

Чем не нравится? Конечно же транспорт. Дороги не заточены под поток транспорта и эта проблема вообще никак не решается уже с 2002...2003 года. Да и вообще у власти в столице до сих пор сидит дядя Эдгар. Тот самый, который когда-то принёс демократию в страну и который нынче любит сильно поприкалываться над Ансипом с Лааром на деньги налогоплательщиков. Он всячески строит из себя эстонскую версию Криштафовича, за что всегда набирает приличное количество голосов от русских (на муниципальных выборах инопланетянам разрешено голосовать, ну а РЛО всегда голосует за Эдика), разбазаривая кучу денег на социальные пособия. Русское быдло ведётся на такие приманки =)

Кстати, заступник русских - это только сценический образ. Я участвовал 8 раз в конкурсах и за все 8 раз выиграл только один тендер. А в основном у него выигрывают тендеры только эстонские фирмы и которые делают работу с кучей косяков и неслабым опозданием. Там своя касса, продолжающая функционировать с 1990-х.

English: Probably, it was first successful housing in Soviet Union. Even from position of modern European safety standarts, they have well-thought-out evacuation ways and fire-proof walls. Probably their architects thought about fire safety before designing. But those evacuation ways had also big disadvantage - they simplified life for thiefs.

Features:

• Mailboxes were made of wood, vandals arsoned them quite often
• Thiefs could visit you using fire-evacuation ways
• Walls are made of very quality concrete - be preparad to have lot of dust and irritating noise drilling one small hole
• Windows in stairs were installed on low altitude, lot of times drunken persons fell down from 25 meters and nobody survived
• Trash recycling were installed in stairs behind elevator, where cockroaches crawled away to all house
• Bathrooms contained 220-volt light fixture in zone 1
• All wiring were aluminium and walled without conduit. If you need to replace wire, you ought to line it on wall surface.
• Junction boxes were also walled, so you need to line cable on wall surface from fuse box if you need to add new circuit.
• Neutral wire were used as ground wire
• 10mm² of aluminium were protected by 125A knife fuses, 1.8mm² of aluminium were protected by 16A circuit breaker
• Fuse boxes to apartments had no main breaker (I install them nowadays), so inhabitants could easily overload their electricity meter
• Circuit breakers were installed on odd floors, so inhabitants of even floors should ask neighbors to turn power on if circuit breaker trips
• Of course elevators, which attract foreigners from developed Europe countries

Estonia separated from Soviet Union and became independent

After getting independence, authorities understood, that Estonian economics can't allow to finish their building and approximately 20 years prepared for construction place idled as junk yard. During 1990's Estonian authorities hadn't helped to families, who waited housing before separation from USSR due to money missing in budget.

In 2004 municipal government of Tallinn begin to build up new tower blocks in turned into a junk yard area, but it was political advertisement of Centre Party to show taking care about people. As result, living there is too expensive and lot of people still live in slums due to missing of money.

English: District is known by it's beach. Even during Soviet times here was living elite of the society. Nowadays there are built modern houses with competition-architecture by principe "who is richer".

Põhja-Tallinn

English: Not everything perfect with it's history. After World War II Soviet Union begun to build there apartment buildings and named it as "artisan's settlement". After fail of Soviet Union this district became as forgotten trap in the city and native inhabitants in joke named it as "crime settlement". During 1990's powerty and strong corruption in Estonia brought they own contributions and this district had the worst reputation. In the middle of 2000's city's government improved it and reconstructed beach there (nowadays it looks like West-European); but in parallel you can also see here too much alcoholics, drugusers, homeless people and other persons with asocial life style.

Русский: Как назвали эстонцы этот корабль, так он и поплыл... Пыхают в этом районе особо жестоким способом, а ракетное топливо продаётся чуть ли не на каждом углу. Хотя, видимо, эстонцы не знают, что означает эстонское слово "север" на русском языке :-) и не понимают, почему в нём уже целых 20 лет происходит такой дурдом.

English: Can't find cold place in hot summer days? Tired of small rooms in modern apartment buildings? Tired of noise when neighbors hearing music? Haven't you ever seen how fast may break drill bit while you're trying to drill one small hole in the wall? Haven't you ever spent 10 drill bits trying to drill small hole in the wall? Haven't you ever felt yourself secure during strong earthquacke?

• How they appeared in Tallinn (very short, commonly)?
• - Well, the history goes to World War II. Those times, Estonia was under USSR and German influence. First, USSR army was fighting with Nazis in Estonia territory (cause Estonia allowed communism on 14 July of 1940 and Soviet communists won elections on 17 July of 1940). To escape resistance of native Estonians, USSR authorities decided to move unwanted persons to Siberia. Special operation have carried out on 14 june of 1941 - all persons with their families, who had reasons to revenge to USSR were moved to Siberia. 20 years later, only after Stalin's death they were allowed to turn back. Not of all Estonians survived there.
• - Some later time, Soviet army failed in Estonia and native estonian people admitted Nazi army into Estonia as liberator. What is more terribly in this history and why other world couldn't forgive this action to Estonia even nowadays - native Estonians presented independence of their country to Nazis and gone to serve on it's terrorist army. Nowadays modern Estonia is justifying this action, naming Nazi soldiers as heroes (wtf, would real heroes ever present independence of their country to enemy? or why real estonian heroes don't feel enemy in nazi terrorists??? or maybe someone is native nazi and don't feel enemy in nazis?). Nobody of modern native Estonians can explain, why Estonians don't judge fashism. The same, nobody of modern native Estonians can explain, why Estonians don't mourn or admit their mistake. They behave themself, as nobody suffered from fashism and fashism isn't terrorism for them.
• -In 1944, fighting with Nazis, Soviet army arrived to Estonia. Worrying about their lives, native Estonians run away from Estonia to Sweden. On 22 of September 1944 Tallinn was finally liberated from fashists by Soviet army. From 22.09.1944 begining Estonia membership in Soviet Union. But nowadays Estonian nationalists saying, that 22 of September is mourning day for native Estonians. As nowadays 22 of September is mourning day for some estonian people, russian-speaking people using this fact for widespread joke - living in Estonia russian-speaking people have tradition to "congratulate native fashists with 22 of September".
• -Membership in Soviet Union began from Stalin times, who recommemded himself as severe tyrant. In 1949 USSR authorities made second special operation in Estonia - they took away from Estonia rich persons to Siberia, who had lot of property. Due to Stalin's doctrine, all rich people were enemy of Soviet Union and should be subjected to prison or lethal punishment. Approximately 1 000 000 people passed through this paranoia. Nowadays Russia celebrating day of political victims on 30 of October, but Estonian government doesn't accept it at all and celebrates it on 14 of June. One more paranoia.

• Whatever [s]confusing for native Estonians[/s] usual dictature history was, Soviet authorities begun to built in Estonia. First there appeared Stalin-era houses, called "Сталинка" in name of those-time Soviet leader.

Русский: Все помните историю с Бронзовым Солдатом? А вот сталинки почему-то не напоминают эстонцам оккупацию и они не устраивают от к/т Раху до штромки массовые протесты с вынесением государственного флага. Наоборот, даже живут в них и делают довольно дорогие ремонты в квартирах.

• Temperature inside doesn't exceed 9°C (48°F) even during hot summer days

• Ceilings are very high, so you need to use the ladder if you want to replace light bulb in chandelier
• Fat gas pipes are lined everywhere, so you can't sleep quietly thinking about scary gas installation which may explode every minute
• 3x4mm² of copper were protected by 3x100-Amp knife fuses and 3x6mm² of copper were protected by 3x250A knife fuses
• All circuits were protected by main fuses, so if you need to turn power off in small circuit (to repair light fixture) you should turn power off in 1/3 house. That is why electricians enforced safety there and worked on energized circuits
• Circuits were 3x220 without neutral wire, so power still come from opposite phase even when you turn power off
• Walls are 93cm (37 inches), so you can't make through hole for cables and need to line them through doors
• Walls were made of very quality bricks, so even 1500W rotary drill is powerless behind them (truly seems, that those walls are able to handle bomb explosion or shells or collision with something heavy)

Khrushchev-era buildings

English: Haven't you ever seen lot of builder's fails? Yep, nothing other in Soviet Union were built with so much building code violations. And the reason was very simple: lot of people need to live somewhere, but Soviet Union hadn't manage to cover everyone.

• For native Estonians it is mostly positive time (despite they don't want to mention it nowadays): Stalin and Beria are dead, next leader of Soviet Union - Nikita Khrushchev have condemned stalinism on 25 of February 1956 - era of strict terrorism in Soviet Union had finished. Native Estonians could breathe easy. However, critism of authorities still be forbidden till it's fail.

Русский: В отличии от России, тут не принято сносить хрущобы несмотря на то, что срок эксплуатации у последней хрущобы истекает в октябре 2012 года (власти активно утаивают сей факт от населения). Наоборот, в разваливающихся стенах делают даже ремонты, не задумываясь, что скоро эти дома сами по себе будут разваливаться. Вблизи штромки хрущобы с истёкшим 5-7 лет назад сроком эксплуатации (в которых по советскому регламенту запрещено находится рядовым жильцам из соображений безопасности) стоит около 40000 EUR :-) Пока ещё не разваливаются...

English: Features:

• Walls were made from scrap materials, sometimes even from extremely toxic phenol.
• Worst thermal insulation ever
• Being indoors, you can feel the wind in outdoors even when windows are closed
• Eternally clogged ventilation
• Defective panels were used as overlay, so all ceilings were ugly and all floors were squeaky
• Sanitary unit is something awesome... pipes are always whistling when you taking shower cause of air in water supplying system, baths were scabrous, and toilets became clogged quite often due to lack in overflow pipe =))))
• Bathrooms contained boilers in earlier modifications... But not usual boilers, but gas boilers - burner were located quite deep inside, so lenght of matches wasn't enough to touch burner and however those boilers exploded quite often.
• Burners in gas stoves were covered by cap, but this cap had no mechanical fixing with burner - when stove used quite big fire, network gas pressure pulled cap out and enormously big jet of flame shoot up to big altitude. As result, lot of unexpirienced persons burned hairs on their head this way.
• Floorclothes were used as conduit for wires
• Neutral wire was 3 times thinner, than hot wires - TV sets and other home appliences suffered quite often due to overvoltage
• Fuse boxes were installed near ceiling, so you need to have ladder if you want to replace fuse or read indication from electricity meter
• Later modifications contained TT earthing system, but it was absolutely useless cause RCD haven't been invented those times

English: Living part of this district is built as circle with lot of roundabouts inside. Outside of living part you can find zoo, open-air museum and shopping centre.

Русский: Район в кольце. И кольцевых тут куча - запутаешься. Спроектирован Мартом Портом. Ну и крепкого ему здоровья и долгих лет жизни.

Center of the city aka Kesklinn

English: Became famous cause of Bronze Soldier. Despite this monument hasn't Stalin or NKVD symbols, native Estonians associated it with Soviet occupation. In 2006 this monument caused few conflicts between "illegal USSR migrants" and "elite victims of communism" - persons, who hadn't lived in 1940's decided to protect Estonian independence against enemy :) Strictly shaming themself by missing of history knowledges, guiding themself by animal instincts, Estonian nationalists achieved moving of the monument - to get extra votes on next elections, Andrus Ansip (who was member of Estonian communist party in 1980's and got highest award for applying violence to student demonstrations in 1988) promised to move monument from Tõnismägi away. The reason, why he agreed to do it is competition with Mart Laar (who afraid to visit Germany since 2008 cause German authorities apprehended his books about history of Estonia as Nazi propaganda), who is the most popular politician in Estonia. Moving of this monument caused riots in Tallinn, but Estonian authorities decided to bring to justice persons who were indetified in pictures of security cameras.

Русский: Прославился историей про Бронзового Солдата. Вобщем через 3 года европейские организации признали факт нарушения прав человека, но дали только рекомендации. А вот из фактов за перенос солдата могу привести только один единственный косвенный, что он был возведён при Иосифе Джугашвили, который сам лично из 7,62мм револьвера системы НАГАН расстрелял 142 857 142,86 человек (эстонцев не убивали, а отправляли на территорию между Уралом, Казахстаном и Японией). На этом факты против заканчиваются, а вот фактов за то чтобы оставить этот памятник могу привести свыше десятка. Чего эстонцам спокойно не сиделось-то? Скорее народ хотел зрелищ, а не сопереживал бабушкам и дедушкам имён которых уже помнит.

Ida-Virumaa

English: Famous for heavy manufacturing during Soviet times. Narva power plant is the biggest energy producer in Estonia. But it also has black print: Blue Hills, where Estonian nationalists celebrating fighting on german side during german occupation every year on july. Despite you can get to jail for this action in West-European countries, Estonian authorities don't punish for it in Estonia. Vice versa, they salute it as important part of Estonian history.

• There you can find some comic contradiction - prime minister said, that word "fashist" is offensive to native Estonians. OK, nothing against it. But why they don't remember oath to Hitler and concentration camps in Estonia? Something doesn't fit in this story :) And why non-fashists meet russian-speaking people as enemy? Why Friedrich Jeckeln was surprised by obedience of native Estonians? Too much questions without answers :)

Русский: Северо-восток - эстонская Роисся внутри Эстонии. Во времена СССР это был большой промышленный центр, битком набитый всевозможными предприятиями. Теперь же здесь осталось только несколько предприятий. Жизнь здесь идёт каким-то своим чередом, здесь практически невозможно встретить коренных эстонцев. Во все кризисы это был самый бедный регион (когда-то в 1990-х фантазёр целенаправленно разваливал здесь предприятия чтобы выжить голодом из этого региона русских, но провалился с позором). Но это только статистике бедный. На самом же деле, РЛО из северо-востока ездит на машинах покруче чем у эстонской политической элиты и зарабатывать деньги честным путём в этом регионе не принято. Поскольку пытаться заработать на жизнь в этом регионе никому не удаётся честным путём, то РЛО совместно с братками превратили этот регион в настоящий склад аптеки, в которой есть почти все вещества - от зелёного чая до лекарства от кашля. Хотя антибиотики из группы "юный химик" производят в засекреченных подвалах Таллиннских квартирных домов.

Самые громкие разборки в 90-х происходили именно тут. Даже из Петрополя приглашали чекистов расследовать громкие убийства, ибо своих ресурсов для расследования не было.

Увидев такой нездоровый беспредел, верхний Таллинн немного шокировался и решил применить против этого план Б - назвать предателей Эстонии нацистской Германии борцами за свободу и вместо жёсткого расстрела предателей независимости Эстонии всячески упрощать им жизнь и признавать героями на государственном уровне. Причём тут северо-восток? Фашистский памятник для поклонения фанатиков Гитлера установили на синих горах, почти на границе с Роиссей. Но и тут точно мимо цели :) ибо хоть русское и необразованное быдло, но вот это русское необразованное тупое тибла-быдло прекрасно помнит национальность охранников концлагерей.

Narva-Jõesuu

English: Is a small city in the east of Estonia, which boards with Russia. If you want to inbreathe Soviet era, it's sanatorium (whis saved till nowadays since 1950's with squeaky floors and other surprises) is for you! But if you're squeamish person and want too see everything perfect aruond you, don't use it for housing at all.
