User:Dustsucker/South Korean five-year plans
English:
The South Korean government introduced five-year plans in 1962 as part of its economic policy. During the transition to democracy, planning of the national economy in terms of five years was discontinued.
In 1993, Kim Young-sam's government introduced two ‘New Economy Plans’.
As of 2006, there is a ‘Five-year plan for balanced national development’.
Below the national level, South Korea also has five-year plans for economically less developed provinces.
