Hello Max! I just found some photos[1] you took in the Wikimedia Commons which were marked to be under the GNU free documentation Licence[2]. Did you give the permission to publish these photos under a that free licence (which includes commercial usage)? If yes, which licence did you choose? If not, would you agree to put your pictures under such a licence? This does not mean, that you give up your copyright completely; your work would not be in the public domain. E.g. you can still require to be credited with any publication of your photos and that any derivative works based on your photos have to be distributed under the same licence by using this[3] licence. If you want to do so, please complete the licence agreement below, so that the correct licence tags can be applied. If you want, you can give the permission to use any of the pictures available on your webpage; just replace the quite long list in the agreement with something shorter. If you don't want to publish your photos under such a licence, please leave me a message, so that I can mark them for deletion. I am not aware of giving any authority to publish these photos on Wikimedia or anywhere else. I am not clear why these, out of many more, have been selected or how they were downloaded to your site. I don't in principle have a problem with people using my photos provided their source is acknowledged but I am unclear what I have to do to register them in the way you suggest. Darufhin habe ich ihn noch ein weiteres Mal angeschrieben, weil ich mir nicht sicher war, ob er die Lizensierung abgelehnt hatte, weil er durch die Einverständniserklärung nicht ganz durchgestiegen ist:

If you want to put them under the licence I mentioned just put the date and your name below the following text and send it back to me. > I would ask that the pictures be deleted. If you don't respond to this mail within seven days or I'll get a negative response I will mark those images for deletion and they will be deleted within a few days. Nachdem ich der Bitte Max Battens nachgekommen bin, die Bilder zur Löschung zu markieren, hat User:Duncharris sich offenbar eingeschaltet (und mich nebenbei des Vandalierens bezichtigt, aber das ist eine andere Baustelle) und ich habe abschließend noch folgende Mail bekommen, die scheinbar einem Einverständnis gleichkommt, aber offensichtlich kein Wort über eine etwaige Lizensierung beinhaltet.

Danach habe ich abschließend erneut die Einverständiserklärung angefordert und diese auch bekommen. Danach sind die Bilder unter cc-by-sa-2.5 lizensiert (s. hier).
