A die hard fan of Mother Nature, I do a bit of programming and help conceptualize, design, develop and promote internet start ups. Being in the Web Development and blogging world I felt an urgent need for a collection of royalty-free graphics that the designing community could use. I do understand that commercial images need to be paid for, but most of the time writers, designers and promoters do not have the luxury to invest in copyrighted images. I have bought over 500 images for use in various domestic and international projects of mine. Even then I strongly support the cause for a free media base. I am here to contribute to the Wikimedia Commons. There is one thing that keeps an artist going. It is not money; it is appreciation. So give the original artist the credits with a link to his site or a mention of his name. It matters a lot.
