Dear Rahul, I am not familiar with the procedure. These days I am a bit busy, so not able to read whole things. So please can you provide me the exact thing what I have to do. Hello Sanjeev, Firstly Atul Gurtu is not the owner of this picture as he is there in the pic. The copyright owner of a photograph is normally the person who took the photograph (in case, the photographer was employed for work, the employee is the owner). Moreover, the source that you have mentioned is vague. You need to provide the exact link. You should, therefore, find out the exact owner and urge him/her to send an email from his/her official email ID to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org. Hello Rahul, I have changed the source link. Now I have kept the link of picasa album. Now the second thing is the owner. So, it is like I went on a visit somewhere. There I gave my camera to some unknown person to take my picture for few minutes. After that I took the camera and came back. So please let me know who is the owner of those pictures which were taken in my camera but triggered with another's hand. So in this case if Atul Gurtu is not the owner than I can't say anything but in either case I will ask to Atul Gurtu to send an email on permissions-commons@wikimedia.org and I am sure he will send. Hello again, As long as the person who took the photograph was not employed, (s)he is the copyright owner even if it is someone else's camera. That is my understanding of the copyright laws. Rest is upto the OTRS volunteers to decide. I should add that as an exception, we do allow photographs taken by someone else (upon the subject's request) to be displayed on various user pages of the uploader. But, this exception is ofcourse not relevant here. In addition, the Picasa link that you gave asserts "All rights reserved" This means that hosting this image here on Wikimedia Commons is a clear copyright violation and I'm afraid it shall sooner or later be deleted by some administrator. You should ask him about who took the photograph, that person should send an email from his/her official email ID to the above email address. In addition, Atul should change the license and credits on his Picasa page for the image. Rahul Bott (talk) 13:13, 20 June 2013 (UTC)

No, atleast to me now, no copyright statement is visible on the Picasa page of the image which by default implies that it is still copyrighted. Regarding the email, I cannot be of any help anymore as I don't have OTRS account.
