I work hard and all what is I am uploading are my paintings art work and my pure thoughts and new views of ideas and novel insights of my own thoughts production.

Kindly please don’t delete my work. I respect you and I hope you see how mush time I spend to work on this, I have sacrificed my time at the expense of my work and my livelihood and daily living pension in order to work this ideas, Novel insights, new views idea, my own Art work paintings, and I hope that it will benefit people in all Countries.

However I respect your view and promise Free man promise and pledge not to Upload and publish more Work , until you and other administrator & Distinguished colleagues in wikimedia commons give me a permission for that.

images refused because of copyrights edit

hello I'm Maryse Pepin from McGray and the Seyrawyn artist.

You have 2 other images of mine in observation (black list) for copywriting. Im a new user and I just understand really your policy. So, please, refuse them and after, how can I delete those? It is the logo of my books and a photo of our dragon eggs pouch in sale in boutiques.

Either, I put our Lonnar hammer to present it to the community but even if I created it, i have to delete this picture too because of the logo of Calimacil. How can I do it?

thanks

Maryse

In this case you may ask for your images to be undeleted. See Commons:Undeletion requests for instructions. The Yeti 17:27, 31 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

File:Odbiornik radiowy US-P.jpg and other edit

Dear 32RB17, US-P, R-311, R-250, R-160, and R-155 are both USSR products and Soviet military radios. There are many sources in Net about it. So, your last edits are incorrect. --KVK2005 (talk) 12:13, 11 September 2014 (UTC) I also think it's completely wrong to include the Wojskowy odbiornik radiowy category in Military radios of the Soviet Union and Russia and USSR products categories, since there are other military radio receivers besides Soviet and Russian. --KVK2005 (talk) 12:43, 11 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

OK, then somehow this category is a problem and files must be re-categorized. The Yeti 17:26, 11 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
This category isn't a problem, I think. It must be just renamed to be understandable internationally. --KVK2005 (talk) 20:40, 11 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Airport code edit

Hello, careful adding that template in your own page with parametres. It ends automatically categorized in Airports by IATA code (flat list) and Airports by ICAO code (flat list) -- SERGIO (aka the Blackcat) 17:00, 8 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

OK, I fixed it, thanks for the hint. The Yeti 20:56, 8 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

WikiSymbols edit

Hey, I saw that you are a vector graphic designer and wanted to ask you for contribution for WikiSymbols, a proposed Wikimedia Foundation Sister Project. The concept is still a raw concept though. Maybe you could help writing it or give feedback?

Cheers, GabrielVogel

https://meta.m.wikimedia.org/wiki/WikiSymbols

"Enabling visual communication"

The proposed WikiSymbols is about symbols/icons that can be understood by people from different cultures and different educational backgrounds as well as illiterate people. WikiSymbols enables (intercultural) communication without words. Contributors to the proposed WikiSymbols design symbols for all kinds of words and upload them with different tags so they can be found. Users worldwide can then download them and use them for websites, presentations, ... simply communication without words. The symbols could also be integrated into other wiki projects.

The contributors can choose whether their symbol/icon has a public domain licence or a creative common licence. The icon can driectly be downloaded in both cases. In the case of public domain, the creator of the icon/symbol has not to be credited. In the case of creative commons, the creator of the icon has to be credited.

Status Quo: There are already a couple of websites that aim to make icons more accessible. To name two successful/popular of them: The Noun Project (https://thenounproject.com/) and iconfinder.com

iconfinder.com recently has reached more than 1,000,000 icons. The most popular sites that sell icons have each 1-7 million unique visitors per month. Estimations are that there are tens of thousands if not hundred thousand contributors to these sites. They are marketplaces with high commission rates. For example, at The Noun Project (a company which started with donations from kickstarter) designers earn an average 0,03$ per sold icon. There are therefore many designers who would rather give them away for free than to sell them at these platforms.

There is already a lot of symbols/icons at Wikimedia Commons. (Maybe someone knows how many?) The symbols at Commons are not that easy to find though. To attract more designers who would contribute it is necessary to present the symbols/icons in a more prominent place. — Preceding unsigned comment added by GabrielVogel (talk • contribs) 00:02, 15 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

File:Beach girl.jpg edit

File:Beach girl.jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.

The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
