About the image of Dumitru CornilescuEdit
I copied the image from the rumanian page of Wikipedia so it cannot be an author rights violation. In addition I would say that it is a photography of public dominion.
- Thank you for writing. If you look at the Romanian image page, it quite clearly states that the image is indeed copyrighted and being used under the fair use doctrine. Judging for myself, I'd have to say the man looks to be about fifty years old in the photograph. Since he was born in 1891, that would place the photo in the 1940s sometime, too late to be in public domain automatically in most jurisdictions. If you have better information that proves it actually is in the public domain, please feel free to post it. If they allow it, what you should do is upload the image *locally* to the Spanish Wikipedia and assert the *fair use* doctrine. Make sure to read and follow the rules set forth for doing so on the Spanish Wikipedia- I know they can be confusing on the English Wikipedia. If you don't follow the rules they lay down, the image is likely to be deleted from there too. Thanks again for writing. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions. — Ashanda 21:06, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
