This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:K-V model.gif. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikimedia Commons (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page. If the content is a derivative of a copyrighted work, you need to supply the names and a licence of the original authors as well.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag, then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{self|cc-by-sa-3.0}} to release it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license or {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

You recently nominated around a dozen of these for deletion in separate DRs. I have deleted most of them as speedies.

Two things: First, when you see a small image like this, Google it. If it shows up on a copyrighted site, then the right tag is {{Copyvio}}, not {{Delete}}. The copyvio tag calls out immediate deletion and uses fewer human and computer resources.

Second, do not nominate more than two or three images from the same uploader or the same category in separate DRs. Please do a mass deletion request, using VFC. You will find that is much faster and easier than separate DRs and has the added advantage that it is much easier to have discussions in one place instead of at each DR. Aurais-tu un penchant photographique pour cette jeune grand-mère ? En croise-tu souvent ?

Si oui, j'ai une commande : des détails de tous les modèles que tu pourras rencontrer car j'aimerai identifier les changements majeurs de l'évolution des "enjoliveurs" la carrosserie : feux arrière séparés, clignotants de custode ou d'ailes et vitre/absence de cette custode, "porte-suicides", tableaux de bord, et cotera...

Par ailleurs :

• je ne suis pas d'accord avec ta modif ici : d'une part la fourgonnette est très peu visible, donc ne compte pas ; d'autre part, l'affiche/cinéma (le sujet de la photo) est importante pour la 2CV ;
• je ne comprends pas pourquoi tu as annulé ma modif ici.

Hi Jean-Pierre, I see that you have left me a message about "File:Energica Ego Corsa MOTOE 2.jpg" for proof/evidence of permission. I will like to know how actually I can prove that it is permitted other than consent email. And how will we know that the email is actually from the copyright holder, do we need to prove that too? The image is taken from press release section of Energica Motor Company after getting their permission via email. Is it sufficient enough as a proof that the picture is taken from press release section? Due to confidentiality issue, I can't reveal the discussion. Comme tu l'as vu, j'ai averti Hani.Mlld sur ses PdD, aussi bien sur WP.fr que sur Commons. Il/elle semble avoir compris au moins une partie du problème, du moins sur WP.fr, puisqu'il/elle en a retiré toutes ses modifications. Je pense qu'il s'agit de quelqu'un qui n'a encore intégré ni les principes fondateurs de WP, ni ses techniques de base (cf. cette page avant ton "nettoyage"), ce qui peut amener à quelques incompréhensions et irritations de tous les côtés. Wait and see...

Pour ce qui est de cette pauvre petite 204 bordeaux, je revendique toute la responsabilité de sa présence, en tout cas sur la WP.fr (et aussi sur la WP.uk, mea culpa ) : elle ne provient pas d'une manipulation d'Hani.Mlld, mais du fait que j'ai réintroduit l'image qui était utilisée avant ses interventions. Cette 204 était effectivement déjà là en 2005, ajoutée par son uploader, et elle a apparemment toujours été utilisée dans l'infobox depuis. Jusqu'à l'arrivée d'Hani.Mlld...
Les cafouillages répétés de notre "ami(e)" sur l'article, à coup d'annulation, sur-annulation, effacements involontaires de balises suivis de ré-effacement, ont pu te faire penser que l'ajout de cette image était de son fait. Mais non
Se pose la question de la taille de ladite image : comme exposé dans la demande de suppression, je pense qu'elle a le mérite d'être bien "pétouillante" côté couleurs, ce qui est bien pour illustrer une infobox. Les autres images sont tellement fadasses... Et quelle est la proportion de lecteurs et de lectrices qui ira cliquer sur l'image pour la voir en grand, dans les WP où elle apparaît ? Sa petite taille la dessert-elle réellement ?

Concernant la 204 rouge (ci-contre), je n'ai jamais pensé que l'ajout de cette photo était du fait de Hani.Mlld. Au contraire : hier, Hani.Mlld a soulevé la question/droit d'auteur (voir son message plus haut) des photos utilisées dans l'article Peugeot 204 (d'ailleurs, on voit que la présence dans cet article de cette 204 l'a dérangé). Donc après visualisation des photos utilisées dans l'article, je trouvais que cette 204 se démarquait des autres 204 utilisées :

• très faible résolution, même vers 2005 (en 1998 déjà, j'avais un APN Epson en 1024x768 pixels max) ;
• format PNG donc pas d'Exif (et qui peut faire penser à une copie d'écran) ;
• source pas claire (qui renvoyait sur une autre photo, bleue). Cela a été corrigé depuis.

Cette photo est certes jolie, mais offre peu de détails (et une voiture au milieu d'un pré, cela fait un peu bizarre). La catégorie dédiée offre (et offrira...) d'autres photos.

Je pense qu'une telle photo, modifiée en PNG, en 384 × 288 pixels, ne devrait pas figurer dans le corps d'un article. D'autres choix sont possibles. Je l'ai retirée ce matin de Peugeot. --Cjp24 (talk) 16:14, 26 August 2018 (UTC)

Il n'en reste pas moins que cette image était dans l'infobox, pour l'article sur la 204, pas dans le corps de l'article. Sa petite résolution ne gênait donc pas, à mon avis. Et, bien que ça n'ait bien évidemment pas valeur d'argument ultime, le nombre ne faisant pas la vérité, les contributeurs d'au moins 8 WP (la francophone incluse jusqu'à il n'y a pas longtemps) ont semble-t-il pensé de cette manière. Une autre image aussi agréable à l'œil viendra peut-être plus tard, mais en attendant, faut-il vraiment illustrer l'infobox de l'article de la 204 avec une image fadasse alors que nous disposons de cette photo ?
Pour la petite histoire, si j'avais eu la possibilité et le réflexe de prendre en photo la 204 qu'un de mes oncles voulait m'offrir (ce n'était qu'une vieille occasion, à l'époque, mais je n'avais hélas pas le permis à ce moment), le rendu aurait été le même : elle traînait au milieu de son champ. Quant à mon APN de 2005, il ne me donnait que du 640x480 en 72 dpi. Regarding this edit, I doubt the "VSAV" in the file is really a fire engine. In my opinion, although the vehicle in the file is from a fire brigade, it is still an ambulance and does not have any fire fighting equipment on board (Which is, unlike this kind of vehicle, which has the function of both a fire engine and an ambulance). Similar categorization, such as ambulances of Hong Kong Fire Services Department (no independent category, categorized in Category:Ambulances in Hong Kong), ambulances of Tokyo Fire Department (categorized in Category:Ambulances of the Tokyo Fire Department) and ambulances of New York City Fire Department (categorized in Category:Ambulances of the New York City Fire Department). These examples exemplifies that ambulances are usually categorized separately with fire engines. They probably belong with mobility scooters then. I don't see any fuel tank so no idea how they are powered, but electric wheelchairs are wheelchairs - ie suitable for those unable to stand, and who need to transfer with a hoist or using their arms. Si c'est le cas, tous les tracteurs routiers français (ou presque) devront être comptés dans les 6-wheeled (donc 12 avec une semi à tridem) et les U.S. en 10-w (2 essieux AR jumelés + 1 AV = 14-w avec les semi standards ???) car ils ont tous des roues jumelées par essieu AR ; certains 3,5T ont aussi des roues jumelées à l'essieu AR et ne sont pas dans les 6-W... La catégorie dans laquelle tu devrais mettre ces 8x, c'est dans la catégorie "essieu arrière directeur". Ces 8x2x4 (8x4x4 ou 8x6x4, voire 8x8x4 — N roues totales x N roues motrices x N roues directrices) n'ont pas de roues jumelées sur l'essieu le plus Ar quand il est directeur, le but étant la manoeuvrabilité et l'économie de pneu).

I don't know whether or not this is a monument or memorial. That's why I didn't touch this category at this time. What I know for shure is that this isn't a vehicle as planter. File:Tailgating - geograph.org.uk - 1164014.jpg shows a (part of) a true vehicle that once before it was cut in pieces was a car to drive with. It still has two working wheels and can be used as a trailer. That's a great difference to you green wire thing that never had working wheels. Moreover your image doesn't even show a planter. It's actually some sort of topiary and comparable with File:Green cars (3867815284).jpg. For this and your image we could create the subcategory Category:Topiary vehicles from Category:Topiary and Category:Vehicles in art. Yes, this image differs a little from the others. This plant/material hybrid (rare) represents a motorcycle. The context is not trivial: it is placed (like this work) at an entrance to a circuit (Formula 1, Superbike...) known worldwide. That is why it deserves some consideration. • If you hold a cup of coffee in your hands, your hands don't turn into the cup: You don't have coffee in your hands but still hold this cup of coffee in your hands.
• If a bucket with water is placed on a table, the table doesn't turn into the bucket: There is no water in the table but still this bucket with water placed on a table.
• If a planter is placed on a wheelbarrow, the wheelbarrow doesn't turn into a planter: There is no wheelbarrow as a planter but still a planter placed on a wheelbarrow.
