Estimado Dodo, por mas que releo tu último escrito no me cabe en la cabeza que pongas “No vas a conseguir evitar que se borren….y ..tienes todo el derecho del mundo a seguir pataleando”. Prefiero pensar que esa desafortunada frase es el resultado de un mal día. Yo, Dodo, no estoy metido en ninguna batalla. Estoy convencido de mis ideas y las defiendo en este ámbito de libertad que es Wiki. ¿Qué hay de malo en ello?. En Derecho no existe el blanco o negro. Todo, absolutamente todo, tiene matices y yo trato de encontrar la vía, el matiz por el cual los artículos puedan tener la imagen que les acompañe, especialmente para los parajes naturales y las microrreservas, los cuales sin plano de situación no son nada.¿Que delito tiene intentar buscar una vía de solución?. Sin embargo, aunque te he pedido ayuda, tus respuestas son contundentemente agresivas y ya, en tu visión de esta realidad, me hablas de excusas y de salvar el honor. ¡Por Dios!. Los Alias no tienen honor, como mucho se utilizan para salvaguardarlo y quien confunde esto se equivoca. Personalmente no tengo ningún interés ni en esas imágenes ni en ninguna. Si las pongo es porque pienso que es bueno y positivo para el artículo y fundamentalmente que no hago daño a nadie ni a nada. Por mi, si te satisface, las puedes borrar todas, pero lamentablemente, esas imágenes o unas equivalentes, mas pronto o mas tarde aparecerán en los artículos, porque son parte sustancial de los mismos y porque todas estas cosas acaban teniendo solución por pura lógica y sensatez. ¿Tan difícil es entenderme?. Las imagenes de interacciones de antipartículas provienen de la wiki inglesa, no estaban subidas a commons por lo cual no podía usarla en la wiki en español. Las subí pero no sabía que información era necesaria. Puedes arreglarlo tu? Si no dime que hace falta que haga, por favor.

Me temo que te equivocas Dodo en eso de que no me he leído el vínculo que me pusiste. Precisamente porque me lo he leído me da la impresión de que la carta que allí pone no vale para mi petición ¿por qué? porque el autor de la fotografía soy yo, lo que yo he pedido permiso es para publicar las portadas que aparecen en esa fotografía, y me lo han dado.

En cuento a que no tienes agresividad. No sé si has oído hablar de la presunción de buena fe, se aplica en Wikipedia por lo que desconozco si aquí también. Pero tú estas presuponiendo que yo puedo haber falsificado el correo del Grupo Godó. Pero chico ¿Quien te has creído tú que tienes? ¿un tesoro que debes proteger? ¿Tú te has pensado que por algo que no me pagan nada me voy a tomar esa molestias? ¿Qué gano yo con cometer ese delito?... Efectivamente no lo sabes. Veo que a muchos de aquí cuando tenéis algo de poder ya os pensáis que estáis elegidos para yo que sé que tipo de misión. Yo sólo pretendía hacer un poco más ameno a la vista el artículo, un artículo que a su vez lo hice para tener una primera referencia de fuentes que puedo citar en el futuro.

Me da la impresión de que a la gente que quiere cumplir con las normas, que os escucha, que sigue lo que decís, a esos caña, después de todo "ya están estos que no tienen ni idea de cómo se hacen las cosas. La lata que dan". Pues si esto te agobia y te queda grande puedes dejarlo cuando quieras, yo no iré a pedirte que lo recapacites.

Consulta

Hola Dodo, soy nuevo en commons (hace un tiempo estoy en la wiki en español), y tengo algunas dudas.

No estoy seguro a quien recurrir, asi que navegando llegue a [[1]] y alli encontre dos nombres con el es delante, el tuyo y el de Barcex, asi que les deje el mismo mensaje a los dos (si se conocen tal vez puedan arreglar si alguno me contesta porque conoce mas del tema).

Estoy interesado en conocer un poco el tema de subir imagenes, es decir, se como subirlas, pero no estoy muy al tanto del tema de las licencias. Lei todo lo que encontre pero me maree un poco.

En mi caso tengo fotos para subir relacionadas a un club, que las saque de un fansite del club (el webmaster del fansite es el dueño de la autoria), y no tendria problemas en conseguir su autorizacion para usarlas.

¿Luego que debo hacer? Se que tengo que subirlas y poner algunas cosas en la pagina de la imagen pero no estoy seguro que. ¿Que info debo agregar? Y mas que nada, ¿cual es la licencia que debe figurar?

La imagenes las armo el webmaster de este sitio, le escribi para preguntarle si puedo usarlas y me dio su ok.

Aguardo respuesta cuando puedas, sino tal vez me puedas orientar a quien consultar.

Sobre las imágenes borradas de Gafotas

Estimado Dodo, si algo se puede afirmar aquí, es que hay gente que te ayuda y te da soluciones y otros que ni siquiera se lo plantean (¿Por qué?) . Al final un buen compañero me ha indicado la autorización para la reproducción de parte de las imágenes que me borraste.( puedes ver en Wikipedia el Wikiproyecto Discusión:Comunidad Valenciana, Imágenes de satélite de la C.V. utilizables en Wikipedia) Sinceramente, no lo entiendo. Buenos dias, Dodo. De acuerdo con su contestación en cuanto a la imagen de Vasco. Ya la borré en wikipedia. Pero, no entiendo lo que se pasa con la imagen de Charles Bronson, bajada de un sitio bajo licencia CC. A mim me parece que la imagen está inclusa en la licencia CC. I think I don't need to provide such data. All flags and coats of arms of every Brazilian municipality are, according to the law, in public domain no matter who did it. If you look at Category:PD Brazil Government you will see how big is the number of flags in this same situation. The Brazilian Law on Industrial Property says "The following are not registrable as marks: I. official, public, national, foreign or international escutcheons, coats of arms, medals, flags, emblems, badges and monuments, as well as the respective designations, figures, or imitations;.".

Sorry for any mistakes in this text. My ability to write in English is very small.

I sadly agree with you. The problem is: in practically all cases, the authorship isn't available. I mean, I can't precisely tell you who did the first fabric flag nor who did the digital version. All I can certainly tell is the source. Is this enough? What will happen to all other flags and coats in Category:PD Brazil Government? I was looking for flags and coats of other countries and I spot this one. It has no link, no author and the "Date" parameter is the date that image was uploaded. Is this information enough for you? I mean, if I put that template with "unknown" as the author and the current date as "Date" all flags and coats from Brazil would be preserved? Thank you again. I can guarantee you that I will provide the source in every future upload. I'm worried with all the other flags and coats that I didn't upload. If another admin tag one of those flags it will be probably deleted after the one-week period. How can I tag all flags with something like "I'm on my way to find the source"? Other thing: I'm in a little bit of hurry because this week several flags and coats were deleted from here and the reason was the same. Well, thank you very much. Escudo Universidad Distrital

Que tal Dodo....

Me ha borrado una imagen que yo mismo cree para el sitio web de la Universidad Distrital... si observa los meta tags del sitio www.udistrital.edu.co, podrá comprobar que mi nombre aparece en ellos ya que fui webmaster por algún tiempo...

En todo caso aún le doy el crédito a la persona que realmente realizó la imagen (edito el scan que yo le proveí)... por favor conteste este mail ya que actualmente la página de la Universidad en wikipedia tiene un enlace a una imagen que no existe...

Banco de imágenes del MEC

Aprovecho que estás ahora por aquí para plantearte una duda respecto al banco de imágenes del MEC para educación. De ahí colgué aquí esta imagen, pero al tratar de poner la licencia de CC (plantilla {{cc-by-nc-sa-2.5}}) que aparece en la web del MRC, me salía una plantilla avisando que sería borrada porque posee restricciones comerciales. Es por ello que después puse la etiqueta para que fuera borrada. ¿Es todo esto correcto o estoy confundido? ¿Por qué se acepta la {{Cc-by-nc-sa-2.0-dual}} y no la {{cc-by-nc-sa-2.5}}? La verdad es que ese banco de imágenes posee muchas que vendrían de miedo para muchos artículos técnicos. ¿Puedes confirmarme si puedo utilizarlas o no? Piratebay Screenshot

Why was the piratebay.org screen shot deleted? It is allowed under wikipedia rules. There are several versions of this homepage already avlable for viewing on wiki. Capturing a screenshot of a copyrighted page is legitamite on wiki. Just look at the link below. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Web-screenshot

Reply to your remark about the AGSIRD logo. My answer : Yes, I'm Ben Heine I'm a cartoonist, caricaturist and painter (See the page on Wiki). It's the first time I'm creating pages on Wikipedia. All the images are my creations, except my portrait by Marcin Bondarowicz, but he gave me his permission to use the portrait with the chosen copyright.(He can be reached atbondarowicz@wp.pl). Is it possible to change the description of the image without having to reload them. Dodo wanted to verify my identity. Image Deletions

Good work checking licenses from the source. Some of the Flickr deletions are on my list of images with changed licensing though. What do you think should be done with all those images? --Para 14:38, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

As you know, it's basically a trust issue. It has been discussed on the VP, and you are already contributing more than most people have, which is not much altogether. If I'm reading you right, you're suggesting that all the images currently non-free on Flickr and not reviewed by an admin to be free, be deleted here, unless someone bothers to start mass mailing the photographers. There's also the Category:Possibly unfree Flickr images resulting from the review process, but nobody has thought what to do with the images yet. Personally I wouldn't trust admins either, since most people are doing it manually, and unfortunately they make mistakes. In addition to what I've done, Bryan's Flickr review bot, although a work in progress, is the first considerable approach to this problem.

Your script looks useful for the manual review process. I did a similar script earlier together with Alphax, who I believe is also using it for review. --Para 19:36, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

Most of the images from Flickr are not uploaded here by the photographer, but people who are looking for images to use in Wikimedia projects or just because they look like they might be useful one day. With some exceptions (ahem), that doesn't create the kind of commitment for protecting the files that a photographer would have. On my lists there are arout 3000 images that are not free (anymore?). Since the uploaders have no way other than their word to prove what the license was, save the mass emailing, it would likely mean deletion of at least 3000 images. Hola Dood, soy Jmadrid, me pregunto ¿Qué imágemes con copyright son las que he subido? el escudo y la bandera de un pueblo tienen copyright, tengo entendido que no, ya que son símbolos que "pertenecen" a los ciudadanos. Son imágenes libres.

Hello Dodo, I have modified the page Mambo and Typo3, all the licenses are GNU/GPL, that's why I have used the GDFL license.

Flickr reviewing

I remember seeing people talking somewhere if it was ok for admins to review their own uploads, but I can't find other than Template talk:Flickrreview#Images on Flickr under a different license now. I think the consensus was that yes, it's ok, since the premise of the process was that admins are trustworthy and don't make mistakes. I would disagree since then there is no review at all (except you now, yay!). I have been thinking of comparing all the flickrreview done with my own results, but there is no database dump for this month yet so it'll have to wait until the new dumps are available. For the time being, I suppose it's better to have something at least hinting of the possibility of free licensing at a time. I really hate seeing people's work go, so perhaps those flawed reviews will delay deletion for a bit, until we start spamming Flickr users of all the 20,000 Flickr images here. --Para 10:49, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
