Ich bin ja mal gespannt, wie viele Bilder Sie von mir noch löschen wollen. Es wäre nett, wenn Sie mir erklären könnten, was ich zu tun habe, damit sie wieder über eine korrekte Lizenz verfügen. Zu jedem Bild muss eine konkrete Lizenz wie zum Beispiel {{PD-Self}} angegeben werden (so wie du es nun bei Image:Speciosa.JPG gemacht hast), nur die Angabe eigene Aufnahme oder own work reicht leider nicht.

Zum hochladen einer neuen Version klickst du einfach den link Eine neue Version dieser Datei hochladen, dieser ist im Abschnitt Dateiversionen zu finden.

PS: Das markieren der Bilder und die Benachrichtigung sind bitte nicht als "Freude am löschen" zu verstehen, vielmehr geht es darum den Uploader auf fehlende oder falsche Angaben aufmerksam zu machen, die eine Verwendung seines Bildes nicht zulassen würden. --GeorgHH 21:28, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

Tagging uploaded images

I created the image Condición-acción_ejemplo.jpg and stated that by writing "own work". I do not understand what else is required (the explanations given in the upload page are rather unclear) so that the image is released to the public domain and how to do it. The licensing page is so lengthty that I imagine it would take a full day to understand it completely, time which I am not willing to spend. If you tell me what to do to release my image to the public domain, I will do it, otherwise, erase the image. Thanks. Csoliverez, February 29, 2007.

Anscheinend habe ich vergessen, die Copyright-Angabe für eigenes Foto beizufügen. Bild wird aber am besten gelöscht (ich weiß nicht, wie das geht). Ich hatte bei den deutschen Wikipediaeinträgen zur Color Line und Color Fantasy ein entsprechendes Bild vermisst und deswegen eins eingestellt. Als ich aber den Link zum Bild dort einfügte, kam ein anderes, offenbar nicht aus Commons, sondern aus dem deutschen Wikipedia unter dem gleichen Namen. Dann ist mein Bild also überflüssig. Hello Rafael, it was no entry on talk page for this image. The file was speedy deleted by an admin. Clear copyvios, "fair use" or non-commercial images can speedy deleted on commons without dicussion, see Commons:Deletion_guidelines#General_procedure (2. Speedy deletion). I have seen that you added lines as [[es:Actinidia deliciosa]] on page http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Actinidia_chinensis. What is the purpose of that because I don't see anything on the page? To mention the name in other languages I use the syntax {{de|Kiwifrucht}}. The entrys like [[es:Actinidia deliciosa]] displays the links to analogical wikipedia articles. This links are called interwiki links. I am quite sure that I have already choosed this option (that author died 70 years ago) and it means "public domain" in practice. And yes - on http://www.shitoryu.republika.pl there is nothing about copyrights, just like on every others websites which are using this picture. Ehh... Hi, This is about Image:Keladi_Rameshwara_gandaberunda_dtv.jpeg. It is a derivative that I uploaded, the original of which can be found here. The original uploader is user:Dineshakannambadi, an editor at en.wikipedia. I want to license this dtv under gfdl and cc (multilicense). But when I uploaded this pic couple of days ago, for some reason I didnt get the usual drop down menu where I can choose the licenses. And I dont remember the tag syntaxes off the top of my head. Can you explain why the drop down menu didnt come? I see that there have been some changes recently. Does it mean that we have to hereafter, manually tag our pics with the appropriate licenses? As an admin on the french wikipedia, I help a new user (names Kasos here too) in a program similar to the "adopt a user" program on the english wikipedia. He has uploaded two images here : Image:Guy lebegue.jpg and Image:Jlh72.jpg. In fact, he is Guy Lebègue and has himself taken the photograph of Jean-Louis Heudier. He has put informations fot both images, and wonders why his images are still tagged for deletion within 7 days.

Du mußt bei jedem Bild angeben unter welcher Lizenz es steht, unvollständige Angaben stellen einen Löschgrund dar.

Hello Paul, all files on commons must have a free licence (see Commons:Licensing#Acceptable_licenses, so that images and other media files can be used by anyone, for any purpose - inclusive commercial use. Unfortunately the email above not explicit allows commercial use, also no concrete licence is named. Help needed about possible United Nations copyright tag!

Hi! I contacted the United Nations Photo Library, asking them if I could use images under "fair use" since the UNPL website says that fair use is ok. I wanted to check if so and sent them an e-mail. The response was better then I would have hoped for:

Hello Hakan, sorry, fair use is not allowed on commons, see Commons:Licensing#Material_under_the_fair_use_clause_is_not_allowed_on_the_Commons. Also, files on commons must allow deriavtive works and commercial use - this permission is not given in the email.

Categorization & Deletion

You marked an image that I uploaded as uncategorized—how do I categorize it? Is there a master list of categories? Also, is there a way that I can delete an image that I uploaded to Wikimedia Commons? I misspelled the title, which is "Golondrinas Entrance Rapelling.png". Images can be deleted only by an admin. You can mark an misspelled image with {{Bad name}} (e.g. wrote {{Bad name|Image:Golondrinas Entrance Rappelling.png}}.) I can not find the e-mail. There is only 1 outstanding e-mail from February and it's not about these images. I would likely think the e-mail was never sent, or another agent replied because it didn't specify what image or wasn't specific enough of a license.
