This media was probably deleted.

A file that you have uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, File:Ekbird.jpg, was missing information about where it comes from or who created it, which is needed to verify its copyright status. The file probably has been deleted. If you've got all required information, request undeletion providing this information and the link to the concerned file ([[:File:Ekbird.jpg]]). Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Danke für den Hinweis. Ich konnte mit etwas Trickserei den Balken für die letzte Wahl unterbringen. Bei der nächsten wird man dann wohl alle Balken verkleinern müssen, um hinzukommen. --Hansbaer (talk) 20:48, 27 September 2012 (UTC)

@Mogelzahn: Hallo, ich habe es mal versucht. Anscheinend haben sich durch Änderungen im Dateistandard aber die Grafikdimensionen leicht verändert. Dafür sollte jetzt auch Platz bis 2022 sein. --Hansbaer (talk) 05:26, 6 June 2017 (UTC)

Bundesrat diagram

Very nice update of the Bundesrat diagram. I think having vertical lines makes more sense and using three colour blocks instead of dots was a good idea! --Shabidoo (talk) 19:15, 13 December 2014 (UTC)

Conscription

Hi,

You asked me how I got "to the conclusion that there is no conscription in Denmark and Austria while still thousands of men serve in respective armed forces every year."

First of all conscription means compulsory armed or alternative service. If objectors are not punished, then the service is voluntary in practice. If thousands of men serve in army, that does not mean service is compulsory. Also voluntary armies have thousands of men.

You wrote: "The absence of cases of total objectors does not imply that total objectors would not be punished."

Actually it does. If the service was compulsory, chances are someone would object. Since no one has been punished in years, service is voluntary in practice. For example in Finland ca. 50 total objectors are punished every year and in South Korea hundreds.

Voting results are not relevant, whether objectors are punished or not is.

You wrote "relatively easy to circumvent the draft, but still means that young men have to serve"

On Wikipedia page of Danish Defence it says that: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danish_Defence#Conscription "Between ninety-six and ninety-nine percent of the conscripts have been volunteers in the past three years."

If a clear majority are volunteers, then the system is a volunteer system. Also if your car is 96% red and 4% blue, your car is mostly red.

From Space to Ice (still lost)

Einen Musik-Tipp (der mich auch nur durch absoluten Zufall erreicht hat) habe ich auch noch.

Ein weiterer Zufall hat sich auch ereignet. Ich dachte noch "oh, das Cover sieht aber ziemlich defätistisch aus, mit dem Schiff, das auf einen glutroten Äther zusteuert" Und dann verändert sich die Farbe so, daß es nicht mehr Hitze, rot, sondern in Richtung Eis, weiß, geht.

Staat "Lost in Space" hieße das Album quasi "Lost in Ice"

Du hattest vor fünf Jahren (und auch schon 2012) diese Grafik aktualisiert. Würdest Du das auch für 2022 erneut tun? Der SSW hat in diesem Jahr 5,7% der Stimmen erhalten. Vielen Dank im Voraus vom --Mogelzahn (talk)
