I am preparing a 3rd edition of How Can Man Die Better, my biography of Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe. I have come across in Wikimedia Commons your outstanding picture of his quarters on Robben Island and am interested in reproducing it. As I am not sure to what extent the picture is copyright free I am writing to ask if I can reproduce it and if so, with what attribution.
I shall be glad if you will write to me at: email@example.com
Photo challenge translations - MarchEdit
the photo challenge translations for March are ready! Here are the links:
- User:HelenOnline/sandbox/Photo challenge template#March (the watchlist message)
- Commons:Photo challenge/2015 - March - Black and White
- Commons:Photo challenge/2015 - March - Steps, Stairs and Staircases
Please can you help translate the restriction for the black & white challenge: "The photos must be taken in March 2015 and a maximum of three entries can be submitted per photographer.". Sorry for the late change. Thanks. -- Colin (talk) 10:20, 28 February 2015 (UTC)
I have clarified (with examples) that Commons:Photo challenge/2015 - March - Steps, Stairs and Staircases includes ladders and step stools. -- Colin (talk) 10:27, 28 February 2015 (UTC)
