File:Flag of Hawaii (1896).pngEdit

Is there any difference between this file and File:Flag of Hawaii.svg? Fry1989 eh? 01:47, 25 July 2014 (UTC)

Howdy! Why, yes there is. The white fimbriations along the red Cross of St. George in the canton are slightly thinner than on the present one. Render the SVG at the same width (432 pixels wide) as the PNG and you'll see the difference. Regards, Flag of Arlington County, Virginia.png Illegitimate Barrister 01:49, 25 July 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for explaining. Also thanks for reverting File:Presidential Standard of the Republic of Korea.svg, although that user is continuing to edit war. Fry1989 eh? 20:30, 25 July 2014 (UTC)
No worries, you're welcome. I'll see what I can do about the revert war. Flag of Arlington County, Virginia.png Illegitimate Barrister 22:03, 25 July 2014 (UTC)

Your image in signature violates Commons:Signatures#Images in signature. Please fix it. Thanks! Revicomplaint? 05:38, 26 July 2014 (UTC)

Oh alright, but only because you said please. Illegitimate Barrister 06:56, 26 July 2014 (UTC)

Presidential Standard of the Republic of Korea.svgEdit

Hi Illegitimate Barrister,

I left a message about the happening around this file here. I am looking forward to your input. Natuur12 (talk) 15:54, 26 July 2014 (UTC)

Coat of arms of MarylandEdit

Hi- Dropping a note or having a conversation before applying a "superseded" template on an [original illustration] would have been appreciated. The png file you made has cut off parts of the original design (not just the name of the state, but the top and sides as well) therefore making it a file of questionable utility. Is there a reason that the original was not adequate? The size and detail is certainly very high... Thanks-Godot13 (talk) 22:48, 1 August 2014 (UTC)

I guess what I'm saying/asking is why would a png file supersede a jpg file for an historical image/illustration? The fact that it is an original 1876 illustration is then, well, basically destroyed...-Godot13 (talk) 23:18, 1 August 2014 (UTC)

If you are willing to !vote regarding my proposal, I believe we can reach a resolution in this matter. Fry1989 eh? 22:00, 3 August 2014 (UTC)
