Renaming files used on wikisource

October. Anno 1697. aufgerichtet.pdf (Special:Diff/867201449) back to the previous name. The index and article on wikisource dont function now (see here). By the way, "Octobr." wasnt even an "obvious error", it is exactly spelled like this on the scanned original. Thanks --Mapmarks (talk) 20:39, 11 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I often decline minor typo's (in this case it even wasn't), but sometimes I get misled, and still rename it. So, I'm getting more and more critical. / Ok, no problem, I changed it back. Have a nice one! - Inertia6084 (talk) (talk) 21:07, 11 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
No problem :) and thanks again --Mapmarks (talk) 22:04, 11 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Incorrecte hernoemingen

Mvg - Inertia6084 (talk) (talk) 21:01, 15 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

File rename breaking Wikisource

This rename resulted in multiple breaks to a work hosted on the English Wikisource. Linkage there is complex, and files for works hosted there should not be renamed without understanding the amount of work it will take to correct the linkages at Wikisource projects. --EncycloPetey (talk) 16:21, 11 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Renaming old stereo slides

Hi Inertia6984. Thank you very much for renaming the old slides! Shall I add the correct categories? Rectilinium (talk) 11:59, 17 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi, yes ok, I only rename :-) Thanks, - Inertia6084 (talk) (talk) 12:01, 17 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Rename Reject

Hey, about this [1] and [2] . The number in the title, 250424, stands for 25 April 2024. I wanted it renamed 260424 as it was taken on April 26. Not sure why the reject, both dates are a month in the past. We're in May, or am I missing something? Poliocretes (talk) 19:38, 25 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I'm sorry, I confused it with May. :) I will rename it right now. Thanks for your message, - Inertia6084 (talk) (talk) 21:04, 25 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Why rename declined

About a year ago, you declined to rename File:Cc by-nd icon.svg because it was "not possible to rename these files" citing COM:FRNOT as the reason. Could you explain that decision more. Jason Quinn (talk) 21:35, 31 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

What I did almost a year ago, I normally don't answer, but here is what I said: "See: Category:SVG CC BY-ND logos - Not possible to rename these files within the guidelines. Also a hundred pages has to be changed, only for capital letters". Also see: COM:FRNOT #2 (Files should NOT be renamed only to translate the filename to another language and/or because the filename is not correctly capitalized.) - Inertia6084 (talk) (talk) 12:53, 1 June 2024 (UTC) PS please no answers to this, or I will archive them within an hour. Thanks..Reply

Deletion request

Hi. Can you delete this one and the other one? This flag never existed in history, and they were put in various Wikipedia projects by its creator. This flag distorts the facts. These files should be deleted. Thank you. Aybeg (talk) 19:34, 3 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Aybeg: , I can't delete files. Even if I could, it should be nominated the normal way, by requesting it for deletion. Regards, - Inertia6084 (talk) (talk) 20:24, 3 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Can you nominate these files for deletion? I don't know how to do that. Aybeg (talk) 22:15, 3 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
