Bonjour, j'attire ton attention sur le fait que tu as nommé un fichier par le même nom qu'un existant déjà, ce qui a impacté sur les articles concernés. J'ai réparé ça en ne touchant pas au nom de ton nouveau fichier qui est donc File:DSC01021.JPG et j'ai rechargé et nommé autrement le fichier qui a été écrasé par le tien... Autrement dit, merci de ne pas utiliser un nom de fichier existant. Le mieux c'est de ne pas faire comme j'avais fait aussi, c'est-à-dire d'utiliser le nom machine... I moved these two sections (categorizing/South India) from my user-talk to yours as i "watched" your page, hoping my form to contact you was/is not un-polited (i do not intend to do so; my English knowledge is limited).

No, personally i do think you can use of course more than one category :-) Using, in addition, the categories of the regarding state as Category:Tamil Nadu, or too general categories as Category:Roads etc.etc. is "overwhelming" these main-categories.
Instead, we should use subcategories as Category:Roads in India, and/or of course, Category:Transport in Tamil Nadu, Category:Rivers of Tamil Nadu [or more specific if there's one or should be created], Category:Lakes of Tamil Nadu [or more specific as Category:Berijam Lake (EN-WP ;-))], Category:Wildlife sanctuaries of Tamil Nadu etc.etc.
There are many sub-categories in the "main category" Tamil Nadu (and India in general) ... If your recent uploads concern a specific wildlife park in Tamil Nadu (or in general), i'll create a specific category, which one, please ?
The second point to contact you was, ihmo your recent uploads regarding Kodaikanal-Munnar-Road (i've seen your wiki :-)) are showing localities around Category:Dindigul district and not in Category:Munnar (Kerala) or in Category:Kodaikanal (city). That's why i re-categorized your recent uploads, before contacting you on this short way (sorry about the "formal way", i do not plan to be unpolite, it's a question of limited time for discussions and my bad/limited English knowledge).

Yes, as you do :-) I've noticed your EN-Wiki work before :-) I would like to stay for months or better years (as you did) in South India and Northern India (hope so, in a not so far future) as knowing some people and having friends coming/living from/in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka, and i was working for a NGO providing projects with/for people in India and other countries. As i was a child and do so today, i read books, see movies, docus etc. i can get about the Subcontinent, as actually i've few opportunities to travel.
My "cleanup" is not appreciated by all people and, and for the last months, "costs" too much time and therefore will be reduced. So i'll have much more time for other hobbies and (local) hiking, resulting in some commons-uploads, too ;-)
Your uploads i appreciate very much and regret actually not to be able to contribute some about India: Thank you very much for your fascinating work for "our" India, and my best regards, Roland zh 15:19, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
