Vector Ghadir

I've uploaded a vectorized version of the Ghadir logo. Hope you like it.

As I've said, I'm new here and you should know it wasn't intentional. The wording is rather confusing : This site requires you to provide copyright information for this work, to make sure everyone can legally reuse it. This file is my own work. This file is not my own work.

Since I made the .svg file, would that be considered my work or yours?

@GDJ2015: Thanks for signing your post. As it is shown here, I am the copy right holder of the logo and have released the work under CC license, i.e., I have premised others to use it or modify it provided that they attribute the work to me and credit me. Even, in the cases the file is modified, as what you did with the logo, the copy right is mine and you have to refer to me. Commons:Deletion requests/File:Reugny - Mairie.jpg

Hi, This is an abusive DR. This is a 19th century ordinary building, so there is absolutely no reason to create a DR here. It would be much better for you to create DRs only when you know the subject. Here you don't know the French law about architecture, and the history of this building. Yann: Thanks for the point, however We work based on COM:PRP and the uploader or anyone who wants to keep the file has to show that the subject is in PD by now. I'm sure we are not: "Non-copyright restrictions are restrictions on the use of material which are distinct from copyright; such restrictions may apply to works in the public domain (e.g. works no longer subject to copyright) or be additional restrictions on the use of copyrighted works". Your VFC installation method is deprecated

Hello Mhhossein, we are aware that using the old installation method of VFC (via common.js, which you are using) may not work reliably anymore and can break other scripts as well. @Daphne Lantier: As an uninvolved admin, would you mind seeing if Yann's actions was right? I believe that he ignored our ongoing discussion where we were discussing that the Angola's FOP law has a major "if" ignoring which can lead into copyright violation. Noor vs Nasr-1 missile

I saw you declined this file move, but the source page appeared to describe it as a Nasr-1, but now I see the source page identifies both Nasr-1 and Noor missiles. The file mover put a long description in Chinese about how it's obviously not a Noor (translation: "The figure is not Noor missiles, no inlet and other obvious external features, no rocket booster, rocket engine ignition, in line with Nasr-1 missile features"). It is used on the Farsi page about Noor missiles but they copied the entire thing from the English Wikipedia page. I'm happy to move it back if you're sure it's not a Nasr-1. 18:32, 15 October 2017 (UTC)

عکسهایی در صفحه خلیل نظری که حذف گردیده اند.

سلام و درود دوست گرامی از اینکه فارسی مینویسم عذرخواهی مرا پذیرا باشید زیرا متاسفانه دسترسی به کیبورد انگلیسی ندارم، خواستم بپرسم عکسهایی از مدارک و جوایز و لوح تقدیر هایی را در ویکی انبار آپلود کنم اگر امکانش هست راهنمایی کنید،زیرا قبلا اینکار را کرده ام و دوستان بدلیل کپی رایت حذف کردندولی اگر صاحب اثر خودشان این عکسهارا نشر نداده بودند که الان در فضای مجازی پر نبود پس اجازه نشر را داده اند. همچنین خواستیم که عکسی که شخصا گرفته ایم را بارگزاری کنیم باید چ ویژگی هایی را دارا باشد؟ بازهم قبلا از پاسخگویی سپاسگزارم Sajadbvb (talk) 13:34, 7 January 2018 (UTC)

سلام بر شما، خواهش میکنم. فارسی نوشتن هیچ مشکلی ندارد. این که یک عکس در فضای مجازی پر است، به هیچ وجه مجوز نمیشود شما آن را در اینجا بارگزاری کنید. اگر تصاویر به این دلیل حذف شده است، کاملا صحیح بوده است. برای جلوگیری از حذف، چنانچه به صاحب اثر دسترسی دارید مطالب موجود در این صفحه را مطالعه کنید و براساس آن عمل کنید. اگر عکسی را که شخصا گرفته اید که مشکلی وجود ندارد و میتوانید بارگزاری کنید. --Mhhossein ^talk 15:28, 7 January 2018 (UTC)

رفع مشکل حذف تصاویر

وقت بخیر
چند تصویر بارگذاری شده که JuTa اقدام به حذف آنها کرده. به این دلیل که قادر به خواندن مجوز نیست (چون وبسایت فارسی است)! دوستان گفتند این مشکل را شما میتوانید حل کنید. برای همین مزاحم شما شدم. آخر این صفحه درموردش بحث شده. متشکرم.

@Mhhossein: تشکر بسیار. اما گویا شما فقط مجوز یکی از تصاویر را تایید کردید. این مشکل برای همه این تصاویر ایجاد شده که همۀ تصاویر هم از یک وب‌گاه و با همان مجوز هستند، و اخطار حذفشان در همان صفحه بحث موجود است. ممنونم--Sesatamo (talk) 12:51, 13 January 2018 (UTC)

@Mhhossein: در مورد این عکس مشکلی نیست. این عکس را به خاطر زاویه و کیفیت مناسب انتخاب کرده بودم. با این حال در این مورد اصراری نیست. میتوان عکس مورد اشاره را حذف کرد و دوتا از تصاویر این دیدار که بدون آرم اختصاصی وب‌گاه رسمی ایشان جای دیگری بازنشر نشده‌اند را جایگزین کرد تا چنین شبهه‌ای هم نباشد: (این عکس و این عکس). سایر عکسهای بارگذاری شده نیز تماما توسط وب‌گاه رسمی ایشان تهیه و منتشر شده‌اند. متشکر از بررسی و عنایت شما--Sesatamo (talk) 22:12, 13 January 2018 (UTC)

سلام. اینطور میشود قبول کرد که «فقط یا اولین‌بار» توسط این وبسایت رسمی منتشر شده‌اند. (البته بعدا به عنوان عکسی از یک منبع معتبر، مورد استفادۀ وبسایتهای خبری نیز قرار گرفته‌اند.) این موضوع مخصوصا در مورد تصاویر به راحتی قابل جستجوست.--Sesatamo (talk) 12:52, 14 January 2018 (UTC)

Tasnim reviews

Just a heads up. When you are reviewing Tasnim images that have had the proper substituted template applied {{subst:Tasnim/subst}} it will have included the category Category:Tasnimnews review needed. After you give it a good review you must remember to manually remove the category, otherwise it still sits there for review. I just fixed File:Funeral of Levon Haftvan 02.jpg for you. If you find Tasnim images that have just got a plain {{Tasmin}} template it is best to replace it with the substituting template. You probably don't remember but back in February 2019 you blocked Stan old for 2 months for uploading porno images (and essentially treating this as a porno site),
From then till now they'd been uploading normal pictures however this month unfortunately they've gone back to their old ways so I was wondering if you could reblock them for either a longer period of time or failing that indefinitely,
I sort of wonder if we'll be back here next year which is why I'm leaning with indef but it's not the first time I've jumped the gun either,

Hey Mhhossein, Given File:وجدي غنيم.jpg and File:Eliana.jpg both used to have the same issue and both have been protected I don't see why this file should be any different - Not having a go btw just saying,

That being said I've just tried uploading a file under a protected file and got "This title corresponds to a protected page on this wiki. Please choose a different one." so basically if protected all's the users would do is enter a more descriptive name meaning the copyvios will go more undetected,

So maybe for the sake of spotting copyvios easier maybe it'd be better to keep as is,

Question on photo deletion

Hey @Mhhossein: ! You deleted File:Annamie Paul in Toronto Regent Park.jpg for copyright violation, but this identical photo still exists Annamie Paul in Regent Park Toronto.jpg. I think that in both of these cases, it is likely that the subject owns the rights by having paid for the photoshoot (although I can't be sure), but independent of that I wanted to know if I could put the still existing photo into pages. Recent photo deletion

Am I curious as to why this photo I uploaded was deleted. A separate user requested the image be deleted, but erroneously reported that it originated on Facebook and additional permissions were required. This is incorrect; I am the original author of the photo in question and I have uploaded dozens of concert pics in the past without experiencing this. Salam Vice regent, Wikipedia:Logos#Uploading non-free logos is explaining how you can upload and use the company's logo. But briefly, if the logo is not free you can upload that only to Wikipedia provided that the file is "low-resolution and no larger than necessary". Needless to mention that Wikimedia Commons files should be completely free. سلام و عرض ادب درباره این فایل، عکس مربوط به نخل‌برداری در شهر مهریز است. در صفحه بحث چند مورد مدرک درباره این اشتباه آوردم که متاسفانه بررسی نشده یا بهرحال مورد قبول واقع نشده، در ضمن عرض کردم من خودم ساکن تفت هستم و چندین بار در این مراسم شرکت کردم!!! جهت اطمینان بیشتر می‌تونید به این [7] که البته سمت دیگر نخل مهریز را نشان می‌دهد نگاه بیاندازید و به وضوح اسم تکیه باغ بهار مهریز در عکس مشخص است. در این نخل از پوش آینه استفاده شده. نخل تفت اما پوش متفاوتی دارد. این [8] در آپارات فیلم هر دو مراسم وجود دارد. با تشکر

نخل برداری تفت در تکیه شاهولی برگزار میشه که دوطبقه نیست اما تکیه ای که در عکس مشخص هست دو طبقه هست این نخل پنج یا شش ردیف چوب داره، اما نخل تفت حدود ده ردیف داره، نخل تفت رو روی دوش میذارن اما همونطور که در عکس مشخصه این نخل رو روس دست حمل میکنن

سرچ گوگل عکس از نماهای متفاوت نخل تفت رو مشخص میکنه [10]

How we will see unregistered users

Hi!

You get this message because you are an admin on a Wikimedia wiki.

When someone edits a Wikimedia wiki without being logged in today, we show their IP address. As you may already know, we will not be able to do this in the future. This is a decision by the Wikimedia Foundation Legal department, because norms and regulations for privacy online have changed.

Instead of the IP we will show a masked identity. You as an admin will still be able to access the IP. There will also be a new user right for those who need to see the full IPs of unregistered users to fight vandalism, harassment and spam without being admins. Patrollers will also see part of the IP even without this user right. We are also working on better tools to help.

If you have not seen it before, you can read more on Meta. If you want to make sure you don’t miss technical changes on the Wikimedia wikis, you can subscribe to the weekly technical newsletter.

We have two suggested ways this identity could work. We would appreciate your feedback on which way you think would work best for you and your wiki, now and in the future. How does PD work exactly?

Sorry for the silly question but how exactly does PD work? Is it that an image automatically becomes PD after a certain period of time (depending on the country its in)? Salam, Vice regent. The question is not silly at all, since there are not many users knowing the exact concept of PD, i.e. Public Domain. PD works are allowed to be uploaded here and the whether or not a work is in PD, primarily depends on the local regulations of the corresponding countries. Thanks for that link. I see that Template PD-Iraq[15] includes as PD "photographic or cinematic work that is not compositive (artistic in nature) first published before 1 January 1999". You're welcome Vice regent. Maybe you need to see Template:PD-Iraq. I think you can't find "1999" in the original texts of Iraqi copyright laws, rather you may notice a specific duration being defined. As per Mr. Neumann's instructions, I have not reuploaded the photo since he assured Lisa it will be automatically restored by an administer upon successful confirmation of permission. Lisa was told the approval could take up to 10 days, but she has not heard anything yet, and it has been over a month. Could you please check on the status of her permission and restore the photo at your earliest convenience or let me know why it cannot by restored? Sound Logo

I am messaging you because a contest for a sound logo for Wikimedia is being developed and your opinion as a Wikimedia Commons admin is appreciated. Renaming Honda CBR 1000 RR SP

Since 2020 it exists a second Honda CBR 1000 RR SP, so from my point of view the file name is ambiguous. Please rename. Thank you in advance. Hi,

the CBR 1000 RR is built since 1992 in ten generations, all these motorcycles has the same name - you can see that in the category (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Honda_CBR1000RR). I checked the type SP, which is built in 3rd generation now. In this sense the name is ambigous, I don't see a violation of the renaming rules ... Just a reminder, photos taken in a public place are ineligible for speedy deletion (unless the photo itself was stolen). file moves when pages are transcluded at WSes

Hi. File moves like this cause problems at the Wikisources where pages are transcribed (ie. Page: ns pages showing in global usage). Can I suggest that you decline the moves as CommonsDelinker cannot fix and it just causes the WSes issues to have to clean up.
