Ahoj Mormegile, narazil jsem na šablonu Template:PD-EU-no author disclosure a přiznám se, že mi není úplně jasné, v čem se vlastně liší od Template:Anonymous-EU. Můžeš mi to nějak přiblížit? Předem díky! --Gampe (talk) 03:34, 2 June 2014 (UTC)

Snažil jsem se nějaký rozdíl najít, ale marně. Ostatně, stejná otázka se ±bezvýsledně diskutovala na Template talk:PD-EU-no author disclosure#Template:Anonymous-EU a Template talk:Anonymous-EU#PD-EU-no author disclosure. Díky, o té šabloně jsem nevěděl. Vidím, že se během noci u souboru objevil požadavek na OTRS, takže obrázky budou s největší pravděpodobností smazány. Doklad o svolení skutečně chybí.--Kacir (talk) 17:18, 8 October 2014 (UTC)

Licence u obrázku

Ano, máš samozřejmě pravdu, to je zcela zjevně nesmysl. I vzhledem ke zmatené historii souboru, ve které uživatel průběžně měnil licenční šablony a informace o původu souboru, je vidět, že patrně vůbec netuší, která bije. Soubor jdu smazat, tady vážně není co řešit. (A taky se jdu podívat na ostatní soubory načtené tímto uživatelem, vypadá, že o autorském právu má poněkud zmatenou představu.) Znaky obcí

Ahoj, stránka meta:Wikimedia Czech Republic/Právo (odkazovaná z Template:PD-CzechGov) je vedena jako archivovaná, tak píšu rovnou tobě, protože jsi tam uveden. Do OTRS došel mail ohledně znaku File:Znak obce Dambořice.svg, že má mít nějaký trochu jiný tvar, než jak je nahrán na Commons a v REKOSu (to teď není podstatné). Pán ovšem na konci mailu informoval, že znaky mohou být používány pouze se souhlasem obce. Když jsem mu napsal odkaz na AZ č. 121/2000 Sb., § 3, odstavec a) (státní symbol a symbol jednotky územní samosprávy), tak odpověděl, že tou územní jednotkou samosprávy je kraj, nikoliv obec a odkázal na zákon o obcích č. 128/2000 Sb., § 34a, odstavec 3) (Obce a jimi zřízené nebo založené organizační složky a právnické osoby mohou užívat znak a vlajku obce. Jiné subjekty mohou užívat znak obce jen s jejím souhlasem. K užívání vlajky obce není nutný její souhlas.). Z mého laického pohledu, pokud nejsou k tomu žádné další předpisy, to vypadá, že by se asi měly všechny znaky smazat... Jak to tedy je, co s tím? --Harold (talk) 17:45, 3 December 2014 (UTC)

Z hlediska autorského práva je to jednoduché: Znak obce je jakožto úřední dílo vyňat z ochrany právem autorským. Vedle toho však v Česku existuje speciální veřejnoprávní ochrana znaku obce založená oním zákonem o obcích. Tato ochrana je krásným příkladem něčeho, čemu se na Commons říká non-copyright restrictions. Z hlediska Commons je tedy problém vyřešen: dílo není autorskoprávně chráněno, může být na Commons (ideálně pak označeno nějakou šablonou, která upozorňuje na omezení v jeho používání). Jinou věcí je využití těch znaků např. v článcích na Wikipedii. Existují názory, že takové použití vskutku porušuje zákon a Wikipedie by s tím měla přestat. Podle jiných názorů není čistě informativní vyobrazení znaku obce ve zřetelně encyklopedickém článku „užitím znaku“ ve smyslu onoho zákona. Na Wikipedii se o tom již několikrát vedly nějaké diskuse, viz např. cs:Wikipedie:Pod lípou (práva)/Archiv 2010/01#Svolení pro vlajky a znaky obcí. --Mormegil (talk) 10:00, 4 December 2014 (UTC)

I was away for a while so I couldn't reply, thus I reply now because the original discussion has been archived. As you know well, deleting anything associated with "famous people" had a rationale because it is about an arbitrary definition (famous for who? If we talk about Beethoven fine, but when the thing is less obvious we are going to open a Pandora's box of criticism and POVs). A fair definition could be Houses by person who lived in or similar (but I guess that in order to choose the form Jim Woodward could help us because he is a native speaker of English). -- SERGIO ^{(aka the Blackcat)} 16:22, 6 June 2015 (UTC)

Jameslwoodward, Blackcat, for the continuing discussion, please do reopen the improperly closed CfDs or open a new CfD and join the discussion there. Do not shatter the discussion to the user discussion pages, do not bypass the previous participants of the discusions. As it was mentioned in the previsous discussions repeatedly, the problem is that all item categories of houses of famous people were moved to quasi-meta-categories, although they were indented and really used also for files, not only for subcategories. Conversion of these item categories to meta-categories was never discussed and never consented – just contrarily, the relevant warning was ignored by the CfD closer. And generally, we don't need to sort all houses by their current occupant – we need to assemble such houses which are important and interesting due to importance of their one-time inhabitants. The community (two participants of the original discussion) mentioned in the discussion that "There are a few subcats that arguably have some value and could be kept." There was no consensus to move the subcats to strange, meaningless and confusing names nor to converse these item categories to meta-categories (or even quasi-meta-categories). However, the CfD was closed neglectfully, without consensual (or at least reasonable) resolution in this problem. Generally, it's not acceptable to decise about a category without consider its value in relation to its real purposes and its real content, including its subcats. CfDs should be not closed with such ignorance. The problem should be discussed by colleagues which are able to understand the problem, and the discussion should be closed by an experienced user which meet the same criterion and understands arguments and proposals of all participants very highly, and should be responsible, should not to abuse his admin rights to force his personal ill-conceived and inconsensual opinion, causing needless edit wars. --ŠJů (talk) 23:18, 20 June 2015 (UTC)

Loga

Ahoj, chtěl bych si jen potvrdit, že např. logo STANu je volné dílo, tedy odpovídá daným licencím. Podobná loga, obsahující jen text a obrazce, zde byla mazána, např. Logo roland garros, takže jsem dosud vycházel z této zkušenosti. Díky.--Kacir (talk) 10:42, 20 August 2015 (UTC)

P.S. Abych zůstal u sportu, ponecháno bylo Czech Cycling Tour.png, ač ve zdrojové stránce stojí: Použití fotografií a jiného materiálu je možné jen s písemným souhlasem TTV sport group s.r.o. Obávám se, že k tomu nemám moc co říct. Dle mého zcela soukromého a prakticky nepotvrzeného názoru je pro použití {{PD-textlogo}} v českém prostředí laťka mnohem výš, než se na Commons praktikuje, resp. pro česká loga bych ho nepoužíval prakticky vůbec. Ale v zásadě mi naprosto není jasné, jak na Commons prakticky funguje rozhodování o COM:TOO, přijde mi, že žádný systém na to moc neexistuje (takže zdaleka ne „dvojí přístup“ – přístupů je tolik, kolik je uživatelů). Jenže na jeho potenciální nastavení by asi bylo potřeba něco striktně definovat, což je právě u takové otázky značný problém. --Mormegil (talk) 21:41, 22 August 2015 (UTC)

Bankovky ČNB

Ahoj, před časem jsem horoval za nehmotné reprodukce CZK měny. S lítostí jsem zaznamenal, že všechny bankovky v kategorii:Banknotes of the Czech Republic více či méně porušují vyhlášku ČNB. Problém by mohl nastat zejména po vytištění. Přes bankovku by měl být nápis VZOR či SPECIMEN. Jako nejproblémovější ale vidím soubor:5 000 czk note 2009.jpg, který má navíc vysoké rozlišení. @محمد افضل: I have explained the deletion in the deletion reason: The Nobel Prize medal is a copyrighted artistic work by the Swedish sculptor and engraver Erik Lindberg (1873–1966). It is not free content, it is fully protected by copyright until 2037, so that we cannot have it here. The English Wikipedia has different rules than Wikimedia Commons, so that it can host it there. But the file is marked with “This file will not be in the public domain in its home country until January 1, 2037 and should not be transferred to Wikimedia Commons until that date, as Commons requires that images be free in the source country and in the United States.” there, so please, do not transfer it here again. --Mormegil (talk) 13:04, 16 December 2015 (UTC)

@Line 8 the Pink: If you want to change a specific image used in a specific article on a wiki, you need to edit the article on the wiki and replace the used image, just as you did on enwiki. Co se vám nezdá se mé UP? Nenahrávají snad lidé na Commons kradený materiál? Pakliže chcete vychovávat přispěvatele, tak se zaměřte na to, aby Vaše projekty někdo normálně podpořil. Potom si všichni uvědomí, že bez souhlasu majite copyrightu pod svobodnou licencí nic šířit nelze. @Horst, když uděláte chybu, tak se pak nesnažte ji zametat pod koberec, protože právě proto na Commons nikdo nepříspívá. Proč by to dělal, proč by nějaký archiv s vámi spolupracoval jenom proto, že vy to chcete. Dejte si od internetu na nějakou dobu pauzu, jděte do knihovny, přečtěte si nějakou knihu, časopis a uvidíte, že budete mnohem šťastnější. Psaní vyžaduje spolupráci, trpělivost, nic si nevynutíte. Čím více budete tlačit na pilu, tím více nepřátel budete mít. Budou vás nesnášet v knihovně, v muzeu. No a to je cesta do pekel. Jednoho dne se zaseknete, články na cs Wiki už nikdo nevylepší, zůstanou tak, jak jsou. No a existence vaše účtu zde už nic nevyřeší. Fascinuje mne, že ani po letech to na cs Wiki nechápete. A není to snad pravda, vůbec se zde nepohybují psychopati? Proč tedy běží banner "Obtěžovaní na projektech ....", vyjádřete se. Problém v onom obtěžovaní spočívá v tom, že ho správci nejsou schopni posoudit, když už to dělají povrchním způsobem. Nechcete se bavit o špíně, ale právě proto se pak nic nevyřeší. Teď někdo nahlas přiznal, že jsou připsvětelé na projektech soustavně obtěžováni psychopaty. Na Commons je ještě klid, ale na cs Wiki je psychopatů bůh ví, kolik :-D. Možnost hromadné editace

Dobrý den, chtěl bych se na vás obrátit jako na velmi zkušeného wikipedistu s prosbou o radu.

Pohybuji se většinou na Commons a pokouším se teď kromě jiného i vyčistit hlavní kategorie jako Chemie, Biologie a možná do budoucna i jiné od balastních obrázků, aby hlavní kategorie zůstavaly pokud možno prázdné (u chemie se mi to už docela podařilo). Přitom se často potkávám se skupinou většího množství obrázků od téhož autora, kdy by bylo vhodné hromadně, v celé té skupině, provést stejnou operacei - změna kategorie, odstranění katogorie... pro všechny najednou. Viz nyní Biologie, kde je několik desítek obrázků Correlation... od stejného autora (ten nemá vlastní stránku a nelze mu tedy napsat).

Nevíte tedy o možnosti, jak současně v těchto cca 30 obrázcích odstranit kategorii Biology najednou v jediné editaci? Nebo na to musí mít wikipedista nějaká zvláštní práva? Předem díky za odpověď, --Karelj (talk) 23:16, 13 December 2016 (UTC)

@Karelj: O žádná zvláštní práva nejde, jde jen o to, použít vhodné nástroje. Víceméně cokoli lze udělat pomocí univerzálních botů (které může provozovat kdokoli, ale je technicky složitější je rozchodit), na specifické konkrétní úlohy ale existují i jednodušší nástroje, k tomuto konkrétnímu problému vizte například Help:Gadget-Cat-a-lot. --Mormegil (talk) 08:43, 14 December 2016 (UTC)

Obávám se, že zmatený jste zejména vy. Pan Harvánek opravdu nesrovnává fotku „detail vrcholu antény vysílače“ s fotkou celého Motokovu, ale s File:Anténa City Empiria.png, která je v článku vložena jen o něco níže, než kam jste se podíval. Thanks for that improvement to Module:WikidataIB. As a property which has datatype monolingual text can have multiple values (for different languages), the sandbox version check for a value whose language matches the content language of the wiki. I probably should change that to look for the user's language preference because the module is used on multilingual wikis like Commons. Have a look at the sandbox version lines 794 to 803 for the current code. I'm going to borrow your idea of reporting the datatype and incorporate it into the sandbox, which will now replace the main module. Thanks again, and please feel free to experiment with Module:WikidataIB/sandbox. We still need handlers for several of the datatypes described at d:Help:Data type. Template:Time ago/core/cs

Hi! I’ve just switched Template:Time ago/core/cs to use the Translate extension. While making the switch, I changed the {{Plural}} call to use the translation’s language, but this unfortunately broke the Czech translations referring to the past, as now {{Plural}} expects three word forms instead of the two used in English. Rychlé smazání

Ahoj, tady ses vyjádřil pro rychlé smazání, kolega @ŠJů: Tě následoval - znamená to pro mě, abych změnil šablonu klasického smazání u jednotlivých obrázků na rychlé smazání, nebo jde z vaší strany prostě o vyjádření souhlasu a pokus o urgenci mazačům? Nikdy jsem to ještě nedělal, tak nevím, jak přesně postupovat... --GeXeS (talk) 08:56, 31 October 2020 (UTC)

Spíš by to měly být naše názory pro toho, kdo by případně žádost vyhodnocoval. Každopádně ten správce, který by rozhodoval o rychlém smazání, by tam měl mít dostupný odkaz na tu proběhlou diskusi, a také by ji měl uzavřít, čili šablonu DoSu neodstraňovat. Uvažoval jsem, že bych dal echo na nástěnku správců, ale u ofenzivních fotek narušujících soukromí je kontraproduktivní na ně upozorňovat a správně by se na ně mělo upozorňovat diskrétně e-mailem (kdyby šlo např. o vyloženě protizákonný obsah). Ale tohle mi zase nepřipadalo až tak nebezpečné ani urgentní, takže se mi zdálo postačující nechat to v režimu DoSu s tím, že by to tam někoho mělo trknout, aby se tomu věnoval přednostně. Ale pokud bys to chtěl urychlit, tak bys mohl na ty stránky přidat šablonu {{Speedy}}, kde bys za svislítko uvedl důvod smazání (offensive, out of scope) a odkaz na tu diskusi o smazání. --ŠJů (talk) 09:07, 31 October 2020 (UTC)

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the 2022 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the seventeenth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2022) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year are all entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

For your convenience, we have sorted the images into topical categories. Two rounds of voting will be held: In the first round, you may vote for as many images as you like. The top 30 overall and the two most popular images in each category will continue to the final. In the final round, you may vote for just three images to become the Picture of the Year.

Round 1 will end on 1 May 2023, 23:59:59 UTC.
