Since there is no central place to keep a list like that, I decided to post it here; please move it to Meta or another place if necessary.

Here's a list of Wikipedias that either do not have a logo yet, or have a logo in the PNG format only, or there is another problem with the logo:

ang.wikipedia: a PNG file exists, but SVG is still missing;
I created a new logo from scratch, overwrote File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-ang.png and uploaded an SVG version; the PNG has been added to the list;
  1. arc.wikipedia: a PNG file exists, but SVG is still missing — I'd also need to know what's the font used for Aramaic.
    az.wikipedia: The PNG and SVG logos seem different, reupload of SVG export on the PNG should be ok;
    Both logos were incorrect due to not using Linux Libertine for the subline text; re-uploaded correct versions under File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-az.png and File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-az.svg, and added the PNG to the list. odder (talk) 11:01, 14 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    ba.wikipedia: a PNG file exists, but SVG is still missing;
    I uploaded a new SVG and overwrote the existing PNG version. No changes are required, since the wiki uses a local Wiki.png. odder (talk) 16:08, 10 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
    bh.wikipedia: I am not sure whether the fonts I have installed on my computer have all the required characters (in proper shapes); assistance from a native speaker would be required before I upload the logo to Commons;
    I created a new logo using the Kalimati font suggested in the logo creation guideline, and it looks OK; uploaded File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-bh.svg and File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-bh.png, and added the PNG to the list. odder (talk) 12:18, 16 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    bi.wikipedia: The existing PNG and SVG logos look very unnatural (though they comply fully with the logo creation guidelines); they probably need overwriting;
    Overwritten both the PNG and the SVG version. odder (talk) 00:18, 16 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    bo.wikipedia: I cannot read the wordmark or the subline; I think I don't have the required fonts installed on my computer;
    The Tibetan alphabet is seriously complicated, and I guess I will need help from a native speaker of Tibetan to see if the logo looks OK. odder (talk) 12:18, 16 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    Since I am going through this list anyway, I'll upload this logo to Commons later today, and then we'll think how to get a native speaker's feedback on it. odder (talk) 11:00, 28 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    Uploaded a first try of the logo at File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-bo.svg; need community feedback now. odder (talk) 17:59, 28 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    The logo is on-line now. odder (talk) 22:00, 13 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
  2. chr.wikipedia: there is a File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-chr.png, but it looks awful to me—or at least, it varies greatly from the font used in the current logo. I'd also need to know what's the font used for Cherokee.
    ckb.wikipedia: a PNG file exists, but SVG is still missing; the PNG doesn't seem to comply with the logo creation guidelines;
    Trivial to redraw with Meta translation and Pak Type Tehreer, will then ask approval. --Nemo 14:49, 29 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    OK, then, I'll take care of it in a couple of hours. odder (talk) 19:02, 2 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
    Re-uploaded File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-ckb.png, and uploaded File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-ckb.svg anew. Requires community approval now. odder (talk) 16:11, 3 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
    The logo is on-line now. odder (talk) 22:00, 13 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
    crh.wikipedia: a PNG file exists, but SVG is still missing;
    Re-uploaded a PNG with the tagline written in Linux Libertine under File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-crh.png, and also uploaded SVG version under File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-crh.svg. No need for config changes — the wiki uses a local logo. odder (talk) 18:36, 20 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    dz.wikipedia: I cannot read the wordmark or the subline; I think I don't have the required fonts installed on my computer;
    The Dzongkha alphabet is seriously complicated, and I guess I will need help from a native speaker of Dzongkha to see if the logo looks OK. odder (talk) 12:18, 16 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    Same as for bo.wikipedia. I'll upload this logo to Commons later today, and then we'll think how to get a native speaker's feedback on it. odder (talk) 11:00, 28 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    Uploaded a first try of the logo at File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-dz.svg; needs community feedback now. odder (talk) 17:59, 28 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    The logo is on-line now. odder (talk) 22:00, 13 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
    ee.wikipedia: The subline seems a little bit too long to fit in the logo, but I might give it a try;
    Just created File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-ee.svg and File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-ee.png; I'm adding the PNG to the list. odder (talk) 01:10, 16 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    fj.wikipedia: A PNG file needs to be created by exporting from the existing SVG, but the translation needs to be checked first;
    I asked an active editor of that wiki for translation, will be looking forward to a reply. odder (talk) 23:54, 19 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
    I uploaded File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-fj.png and File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-fj.svg and added the PNG to the list. odder (talk) 10:16, 27 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
    gag.wikipedia: a PNG file exists, but SVG is still missing;
    Re-uploaded a PNG with the tagline written in Linux Libertine under File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-gag.png, and also uploaded SVG version under File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-gag.svg. odder (talk) 15:35, 20 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    glk.wikipedia: I am not sure whether a logo created with Kacst Office would be correct in Arabic (with the issue of characters having different forms depending on their location in a word); assistance from a native speaker would be required before I upload the logo to Commons;
    Uploaded File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-glk.png and File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-glk.svg, and added the PNG to the list. odder (talk) 21:32, 28 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    Requires community approval. odder (talk) 10:35, 28 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    The logo is on-line now. odder (talk) 22:00, 13 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
  3. got.wikipedia: The globe is way too big; there's no SVG, so I'd need to know what's the font used for Goth to be able to recreate it if needs be;
  4. gu.wikipedia: Text in the local logo almost touches the globe, needs examining. Note that File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-gu.svg is not a true SVG, so I'd need to know what's the font used for Gujarati to recreate it if needs be;
    hr.wikipedia: needs to stop using a celebratory logo, now.
    Apparently the original logo has been restored some time ago. odder (talk) 18:21, 16 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
    kg.wikipedia: The subline seems much too long to fit in the logo, and I am not sure how to fix this problem now;
    The subline is ridiculously long, and I will need to find a way to make the text appear readable at all, or we can simply agree to have it in two lines, or have it changed by the community. Marking as laborious either way. odder (talk) 11:00, 28 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    Let's try a notification to ask another translation. --Nemo 14:49, 29 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    Got it! The logo is ready (PNG, SVG), and I added the PNG to the list. odder (talk) 16:00, 18 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
    ki.wikipedia: There is no translation of the name Wikipedia or the subline; the wiki uses the English logo for the time being; got it [1]
    Uploaded File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-ki.png and File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-ki.svg, and added the PNG to the list. odder (talk) 21:21, 3 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
    km.wikipedia: The PNG and SVG logos seem different, re-export of SVG probably enough;
    It might be worth mentioning that none of my browsers seem to accept Khmer character (one breaks, one displays useless square characters), so I am really in the dark here. A native speaker's help would be a requirement to have this one fixed. odder (talk) 11:00, 28 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    Works for me: trivial if you choose correct bundled font. --Nemo 14:49, 29 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    Whee! I overwrote both logos (PNG, SVG) with a version using a LGPL-licenced font (Khmer OS Muol); not sure if we ought to change the logo (km.wikipedia is using a local Wiki.png now). odder (talk) 19:59, 4 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
    kn.wikipedia: The PNG logo needs to be overwritten with a PNG exported from the SVG version;
    Re-uploaded a 72 dpi PNG under File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-kn.png. odder (talk) 10:47, 14 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    koi.wikipedia: a PNG file exists, but SVG is still missing;
    Re-uploaded the PNG under File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-koi.png, and also uploaded SVG version under File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-koi.svg. The PNG logo is live. odder (talk) 18:17, 20 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    kv.wikipedia: The current logos (PNG and SVG) seem to be violating the logo creation guidelines;
    The Komi-Zyrian language seems to have used the Old Permic alphabet in medieval times; Wikipedia suggests that it is now using the Russian alphabet with a few additional letters, so I have no idea why these logos use the Permic alphabet all of a sudden. To make matters even more complicated, the Komi-Permyak Wikipedia logo (just above) does not use that alphabet, and the two languages are supposedly very similar. odder (talk) 09:55, 16 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    As long as we get a native speaker to verify if the Permic characters are really needed, this is trivial to fix. odder (talk) 10:35, 28 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    Just use Cyrillic. All pages are in this script and even Komi-Permyak (koi) was approved with the assumption it was going to use Cyrilic. --Nemo 14:49, 29 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    Will take care of it in a couple of hours. odder (talk) 19:02, 2 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
    And so I did — I overwrote both logos with versions that only use Cyrillic characters. odder (talk) 16:11, 3 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
  5. lad.wikipedia: would most probably need to use text written in two scripts (File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-lad.png and File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-lad.svg will need to be overwritten);
    lez.wikipedia: File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-lez.png uses an exceptionally small font; needs fixing and creation of an SVG;
    Overwrote File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-lez.png and created File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-lez.svg. odder (talk) 14:50, 18 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
  6. li.wikipedia: community opposes the v2 logo, uses a local v1 logo for the time being;
    lo.wikipedia: I am not sure whether the fonts I have installed on my computer have all the required characters (in proper shapes), use [2]?; assistance from a native speaker would be required before I upload the logo to Commons;
    I guess I can give it a try this evening, and we'll see what I come up with. odder (talk) 11:00, 28 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    Unfortunately, Lao characters looks really ugly in Jomolhari, I'm looking for a different font. odder (talk) 17:59, 28 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    It seems I was wrong, and the characters look OK. Uploaded PNG and SVG versions, and added the PNG to the list. odder (talk) 21:32, 28 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    mrj.wikipedia: a PNG file exists, but SVG is still missing;
    Should be rather easy to create SVG with the PNG as the basis; I'll give it a try later today. odder (talk) 11:00, 28 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    Done; uploaded the SVG under File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-mrj.svg and updated the PNG version, too. odder (talk) 17:59, 28 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    my.wikipedia: A PNG file needs to be created by exporting from the existing SVG;
    Done at File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-my.png. odder (talk) 10:32, 14 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    myv.wikipedia: The subline seems much too long to fit in the logo, I am not sure how to solve this problem now;
    The subline is ridiculously long, and I will need to find a way to make the text appear readable at all, or we can simply agree to have it in two lines, or have it changed by the community. odder (talk) 10:35, 28 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    Seems feasible with some tightening, not going to ask new translation; we'll notify when we have the logo anyway. --Nemo 14:49, 29 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    There is no way that I fit the tagline into the logo; it's just much too long. I would suggest that we notify the community and get a different translation or agree to have the tagline in two lines. odder (talk) 13:56, 10 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
    Thanks to community providing a different translation, the new versions of the logo are uploaded under File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-myv.png and File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-myv.svg. odder (talk) 13:38, 11 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
    nds-nl: a PNG file exists, but SVG is still missing;
    Re-uploaded the PNG under File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-nds-nl.png, and also uploaded SVG version under File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-nds-nl.svg. No need for config changes — the wiki uses a local logo. odder (talk) 15:58, 20 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    ne.wikipedia: The SVG logo has the incorrect globe, and the font used is different from the one in the PNG logo; I might give it a try soon;
    I uploaded new versions of both logos (SVG, PNG) written with the Kalimati font as suggested by the logo creation guideline. odder (talk) 12:18, 16 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
    new.wikipedia: Text in File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-new.png almost touches the globe, needs examining;

Blubry edit

Wow, well done. On the bright side, this means that with the logos you just created, currently on subject page, we'll reach 2/3 completion of the job for all Wikipedias (about 50+10+40 in three bugs). For the languages above, I'd start immediately by sending notifications to all admins where we lack a translation; then you could create all the missing logos and I'd send notifications for them, with particular care for those not respecting the guidelines; then we'd be ready to make them live. For Arab, do you need a check of the image or help before creating it, like another font, or indication of what characters to use precisely? I'd say to ignore got (disabled on TWN), I'll ask I was given this suggestion about bo and dz. The SVG logos where a PNG exists can be created as last step. --Nemo 07:17, 14 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

For logos written in Arabic, I need a native speaker to check them before I upload them to Commons. The last logo written in Arabic that I created (though it might have been a Wiktionary one, now I think of it) did not differentiate characters depending on their location in the word. I have Kacst Office installed on my computer, so I can create the logos myself, but a review from a native speaker would be welcome to avoid later re-uploads and (hot) discussions. odder (talk) 10:32, 14 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
Bump. I created two versions for each of the five Arabic logos (one in Amiri, the other one in Pak Type Tehreer). Should I upload those files to Commons so we can communicate it to the communities and let them pick up their favourite? odder (talk) 10:36, 28 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
Yes, as I told you. :) --Nemo 11:14, 28 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Apologies for the error, and thanks for reporting it! It's been fixed now, and you should be seeing the correct logo in a couple of minutes. odder (talk) 11:32, 3 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
