I'm not a heavy hitter here, but I've uploaded some nature photos that I'm fond of. Some of these are my own work, and others (mostly pictures of fish) are from other sources. One fish photo I uploaded was used a few years ago in a news report about sea lampreys.

I recently (2021) downloaded Inkscape, so I wont be asking for other people to edit SVGs anymore, although I cant promise I'll be able to answer my own older requests, as I suspect that any errors in maps that have gone on this long will be difficult to fix.

Well done, it sure looks better now : sadly yellow is hard to see. I never thought it would even be used, or edited one day... just a quick little drawing without any purpose : i dont even know why i uplaoded it on commons. I discover only 3 years later that it is used by a team of wikipedians : see how hard it is to appreciate what could be in com:scope or not.   Lilyu (talk) 01:13, 14 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

I know this will never happen but edit

Honestly, I wish Commons allowed people to rate pictures the way social media sites do. It would be so much easier to find the picture I want if I could go to the page with 6000 pictures of chameleons and then sort by rating so I could find the cute ones first. But I get that there are good reasons why we dont do that. Soap (talk) 15:27, 26 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

I know about the "Good photos" filter but either Im not using it right or it doesnt do anything like what I want it to. Soap (talk) 17:45, 3 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

I posted at Commons:Village_pump/Copyright#talk_page_message since Im not sure which image youre referring to. Thanks, Soap (talk) 23:03, 29 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
I suppose it makes sense you may be Jonny Armstrong, the photographer of the fish image that appears in the upper right corner of my talkpage. In which case, I still believe that the best thing for me to do here is what I did just do, since I cannot delete the image myself, and other people will need to handle this in any case.
