Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Why are you removing Manchester categories from files?

Why are you removing Manchester categories from a whole range of files? --Fred the Oyster (talk) 23:38, 30 September 2014 (UTC)

I was organising the pictures into its relevant category, the other categories listed i.e. Category:Belle Vue Zoological Gardens fell under the broader category by removing the tag to Manchester I felt that this would be more suitable as by extension of its attachment to Category:Belle Vue Zoological Gardens it would be dual listed.

You haven't replaced the Manchester categories with an appropriate sub category. I spotted your changes when a Belle Vue Zoo guide's Manchester category was removed and it wasn't replaced. What you are doing is tantamount to vandalism, and not especially helpful. If you aren't going to use a sub-category of Manchester then don't remove the main category. Incidentally, I've reported your edits on COM:AN/U due to the destructive nature of your edits, not to get you into trouble, but to stop your mass category removals before you did any more damage. --Fred the Oyster (talk) 23:53, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
