Clocks

Hi, mir ist gerade aufgefallen, dass Du hier Bilder sammelst, wozu ist das gut? --Ailura (talk) 08:20, 2 January 2019 (UTC)

Das habe ich vor Jahren einmal eingerichtet, weil ich systematisch neue Bilder in Unterkategorien von Category:Clocks by time kategorisieren wollte. Im Zuge einer allgemeinen Reduktion meiner Aktivität hier mache ich das aber schon seit einigen Jahren nicht mehr und sehe mir daher auch nicht mehr an, was der Bot dort hineinschreibt. Da diese Galerien aber mE auch niemanden stören, habe ich sie nicht deaktiviert, evtl. sind sie ja für jemanden anderen nützlich. Tokfo (talk) 08:40, 2 January 2019 (UTC)

Sorry, ich kann immer noch nicht nachvollziehen, was der Bot da tut. Auf meinen Bildern sind überhaupt keine Uhren, ich sehe auf der ganzen Seite nur 4. --Ailura (talk) 09:39, 2 January 2019 (UTC)

Der Bot ist so konfiguriert:

Das heißt auf gut Deutsch, er sieht sich alle Unterkategorien von Category:Clocks an (egal wie weit nach unten), außer denen, die am Ende gelistet sind (also den Rolex-Autos, den GPS-Empfängern und der russischen Jubiläumsmedaille). Wenn Fotos von Dingen dort sind, die keine Uhren sind, dann liegt das daran, dass diese Dinge dennoch irgendwo unter der Kategorie liegen. Mit diesem Werkzeug lässt sich herausfinden, warum genau. Die Volleyball-Bilder (ich vermute, dass du deswegen fragst) liegen z.B. anscheinend alle daran, dass Category:Swatch eine Elternkategorie von Category:FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour ist und der Bot daher "glaubt", dass die etwas mit Uhren zu tun haben. After watching many beautiful photography street-works in the galleries you have researched and submitted up, especially those fantastic imageries with the classical music backgrounds of Vienna school (including my performances of Mozart, Haydn...), in the reality, I and my family might plan to self-travel and visit some landscapes you mentioned in Vienna, and to Salzburg... It would be around the earlier time of June 2019. How I wish, as a learner and teacher of dreaming Vienna school from my childhood, I could get some artist fashions from this trip! And especially, how I wish to meet you - my heart-friend - during this trip, further, really walk on the streets you pictured or into museums in your galleries! Aber ich habe erst jetzt dort nachgelesen, nachdem ich meinem Ärger über Strukturierte Daten Bildtexte Luft gemacht habe. Deine Hinweise helfen mir zwar nicht weiter, weil ich keine Lust auf die Lösung solche Programmierfragen habe, ich behelfe mich halt mit einer extra angelegten eigenen Spielwiese-Seite. In der Beschreibung steht nur "Bereich", und dass es in dem Bereich ist, ist ja richtig (die Straßenbahnhaltestelle darauf heißt ja auch Kagraner Platz, nur die Verkehrsfläche nicht). Dateinamen habe ich halt von der Quelle übernommen. Werde es präzisieren und auch einen Geotag hinzufügen. :) Tokfo (talk) 13:28, 4 May 2019 (UTC)

Important message for file movers

A community discussion has been closed where the consensus was to grant all file movers the suppressredirect user right. This will allow file movers to not leave behind a redirect when moving files and instead automatically have the original file name deleted. Policy never requires you to suppress the redirect, suppression of redirects is entirely optional.

Possible acceptable uses of this ability:

• To move recently uploaded files with an obvious error in the file name where that error would not be a reasonable redirect. For example: moving "Sheep in a tree.jpg" to "Squirrel in a tree.jpg" when the image does in fact depict a squirrel.
• To perform file name swaps.
• When the original file name contains vandalism. (File renaming criterion #5)

Please note, this ability should be used only in certain circumstances and only if you are absolutely sure that it is not going to break the display of the file on any project. Redirects should never be suppressed if the file is in use on any project. When in doubt, leave a redirect. If you forget to suppress the redirect in case of file name vandalism or you are not fully certain if the original file name is actually vandalism, leave a redirect and tag the redirect for speedy deletion per G2.

Fotoimport aus dem Stadtverkehrswiki

Hallo Tofo, du hast ja schon Fotos aus dem Stadtverkehrswiki oder dem Straßenbahnjournal wiki importiert. Ich habe jetzt im RegiowikiAT den Artikel [1] importiert, wo aber eine Menge Fotos im urspr. Wiki entw. alt oder GNU sind. Siehst du da eine andere Möglichkeit, als die Fotos einzeln sichern und hochladen mit mühsamer Beschriftung, rüberzuholen. - Das wäre wirklich hilfreich ;-) - kannst du mir da weiterhelfen? - danke K@rl (talk) 14:56, 8 November 2019 (UTC)

Aus dem Straßenbahnjournalwiki habe ich jemals nur manuell importiert. Aus dem Stadtverkehrswiki habe ich für die Fotos des dortigen Benutzers "Citaro" ein Java-Programm geschrieben, um das zu machen (ähnlich wie User:Tokfo/bahnbilderparser.java), allerdings kann ich dieses leider nicht mehr finden (und ohne eigene Java-Kenntnisse wäre es wahrscheinlich auch nicht sehr nützlich, da dort einiges hartkodiert war); könnte bei einem Rechnerwechsel verloren gegangen sein. Allgemein für Batch-Uploads kann COM:VICUNA weiterhelfen. Also ich fürchte, da kann ich nicht viel machen.
