) is a disputed territory of Pakistan. The other is Jammu and Kashmir (Indus Valley Region).

The interim state legislative capital is Muzaffarabad. It has an area of 5,134 mi² or (13,297 km²).

Culture

The Azad Kashmir has a rich culture, language, folk music and literature, Kashmiri culture day is celebrated each year on the 24th of October.
