Late 18th century terrace of five town houses. The area was popular with merchants at this time since it was close to the rapidly increasing importance of the docks nearby. No 15 & 17 is now a boutique hotel and restaurant, The Lock & Key. No. 25, on the corner of Campbell Street, is shown as a public house on older maps, and there is a Higson's brewery advertisement on the side wall in Campbell Street, which is in good condition implying that the pub closed not that long ago.
