English: Białystok, 17 Rynek Kościuszki Square - Frontage. The buildings on the western frontage of Kościuszko's Market Square in Białystok are made up of five tenement houses, stylishly referring to the Polish architecture of the 1920s. They were erected in the years 1954-1955 according to the design of Stanisław Bukowski. The three central tenement houses have a common number at Rynek Kościuszki 17. These are similar buildings, built of bricks, arranged in steps. The facades of the buildings received mosaic and sgraffito decorations on the occasion of the Central Harvest Festival organized in Białystok in 1973.
