Images of the two yellow & white liveried support coaches used in the 2012 Summer Olympics torch relay, which transported torch bearers, police/security staff and the Olympic flame. Registered BT08 BUZ and BT11 BUZ respectively, they were Van Hool T911 Alicron 42 seaters from 2008 and 2011. Delivered new to Irish operator Cronin of Cork (with Cork registrations 08-C-2911 and 11-C-2911), they later passed to Hythe, Kent based operator Buzzlines Travel (hence the BUZ plates), who were selected for the support coach contract. The 08 coach wasn't modified inside, but the 11 coach was adapted so that the front half was a communications centre with tables, with the rear half containing a cabinet for the flame. Torch bearers and unlit torches were also carried in the Wright midibuses.
