Early 19th century brick building at the corner of Islington and Shaw Street, Liverpool. From 1883 was set up by Thomas Agnew (1833 - 1924) as the premises of the Liverpool Society for the Protection of Children, the precursor of the NSPCC. It remained so until 1948, and the building is now the medical centre for Liverpool Hope University
