502-504 Broadway between Broome and Spring Streets in the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City was built in 1860 and designed by John Kellum & Son in a style that came to be known as "Sperm Candle" after the tall graceful columns which were reminiscent of candles made of sperm oil. The building's facade is of stone, although the storefront is cast-iron, from Daniel Badger's Architectural Iron Works. The building goes through to Crosby Street, where it has the address 42-54 Crosby Street. Bloomingdale's SoHo store now occupies the ground floor.
