English: Aaron Swartz (November 8, 1986 – January 11, 2013) was a writer, web developer, and entrepreneur. At age 14 he was a co-author of the RSS 1.0 specification. He then became a member of the W3C's RDF Core Working Group, co-designed the formatting language Markdown with John Gruber, and was involved in many other projects.
Deutsch: Aaron Swartz (* 8. November 1986 in Chicago; † 11. Januar 2013) war ein Schriftsteller, Webentwickler und Unternehmer. Im Alter von 14 Jahren war er Co-Autor der RSS-1.0-Spezifikation. Anschließend wurde er Mitglied der Core-Working-Group des W3C, gestaltete die Auszeichnungssprache Markdown zusammen mit John Gruber und war an zahlreich weiteren Projekten beteiligt.
