English: Ablaq (Arabic أبلق, particolored) is an architectural style or decorative feature of Islamic architecture (mainly Arabic architecture), involving alternating or fluctuating rows of light and dark stone (also see stripes in architecture) as part of building interiors and/or exteriors.
