Abrahams & Sons of Devonport were British admiralty photographers. The company was founded by grandfather Abraham Titleboam of Devonport (died 1927) who was head of the firm. He had 5 sons who took his first name as their surname; Samuel, Alfred, John, Joseph and James. Samuel's son Horace J. Abrahams was a war photojournalist (for Fox Photos Ltd of London, and New York (1938)) covering the Spanish Civil War from 1936. Alfred Abrahams, was a long time resident of Bangor, Maine.[1][2][3]
Abrahams and Sons were listed as photographers of 4 Marlborough Street, Devonport, Plymouth in 1914.[4]
