The Palace Center is a Banquet and Conference Center located at 623 Hanover Avenue at the intersection of Fenwick Street in East Allentown. It was for many years known as the Albeth Ice Rink/Palace, an indoor ice rink.

Originally owned by the Newhard family, the rink was initially an outdoor facility, built by the Albeth Ice Company (Est. 1928) as a way to generate business during the winter months. The rink itself was built on what had been the family's badminton court. During it's 65-year lifetime, the rink was the home of the Penguin Figure Skating Club.

In 1959, the rink was covered with a roof and became an indoor facility, renamed the Albeth Ice Palace. The Newhards retired from the business in July 1973 and it was purchased by Forrest R. "Rik" McKinnon and his wife, former Ice Follies stars. McKinnon renamed it the Ice Palace. He also added hockey clinics, figure skating classes and a pro shop for skaters. It was also the home of an East Penn Hockey League team in the 1980s. In April 2004, McKinnon closed the facility, stating that it was no longer generating a profit. The competition from modern ice rinks in Bethlehem and Whitehall Township was too much.

The facility was purchased by Albert Abdouchie in 2008 and remodeled. It was renamed as The Palace Center. Today as an event center, it specializes in weddings, parties, business meetings, conferences, banquets, and other events.
