Andreas Gerth (also known as loopspool and schege; * 1958 in Leipzig) is a German musician, composer and visual artist.
His musical productions fall into the fields of electronica, dub, jazz and experimental electronics.
As a graphic artist, he has designed numerous album covers for the bands The Notwist, Tied & Tickled Trio, Potawatomi and for the Munich Trikont label, among others. He lives and works in Berlin.
