Statue of Aphrodite holding a shield, 2nd century AD. One the shield could be read “Claudios Peison dedicated this.” It is known he was a rich artlover in Perge, several statues, altars et cetera were commissioned by him. This was found in the gallery in his name at the South Bath. H. 1,94 m.
