  • The Argus, a four-masted schooner of 566 tons and 800 M capacity, was built at Marshfield in 1902 by the Pacific Shipbuilding Co. for the Pacific Shipping Co., San Francisco. In 1905 she was given an experimental installation of gas engines of 125 horsepower; but the Argus was burned near Destruction I., Wash., June 13, 1906
